Looking for some advice - Heading there in a few weeks and have a stock 2023 Ford Bronco with stock tires. Wondering if I would be ok to drive on the dunes and have some fun. We'd visit on a Wed, so I'd feel a little more comfortable with less people.

Hello Keith, if you are looking to enjoy the dunes the week days are the best with less people! If you like checking out all the great rides it’s great to sit out there on the weekends! Your stock bronco will do great out there just lower the air in the tires to 12 psi and you should be good! Some people even go as low As 8psi! Watch for peeks on the big hill or drop off because the sand changes all the time!

Drop tire pressure to 10psi. Do the Test hill after you drove for a while. Go to one of the shops near the entrance and get a flag. The parking lot down the street at the park welcome center as the pumps for the tires. Bring lots of water. Park before the exit and walk to silver lake. Be careful near the water as you can sink into the mud. Bring a kite, it's a nice beach and windy.

Where did you guys stay? We are looking at making a Michigan trip next july and looking for different places to stay while on our trip. First stop is here, then going to twisted trails, then to Drummond Island

@FusionOffroad not sure ... we only plan on stay a day in a half there.. so 2 nights. Its a group of us going so just looking at options that will have room for truck and trailers.. thinking at least 3

@@unmarkedtrailriders If you're going to a hotel I would go to Dune Express because of breakfast, its outside of town for easy parking, off of the highway, 8 minutes to the dunes, it's next to food and Gas.
