This is conviction, this is urgence..... There is a urgence.... Please help me to watch my steps Lord God... Only the Father knows the time.... The Lord God shut the door of the Ark Himself.... Help me to be vigilant Lord God to reclaim the time I have lost and wasted
@psaiar When I re-read it, I noticed that my comment came out a little ambiguous: it could suggest that Jesus was not both God and man at the same time. I'll have to pray that God reveals more of this mystery and beauty -- and some answer can come as `U don't need to know`, because some things are better left for eternity :). Peace and grace in Jesus Christ!
Jesus Christ, 100% man,100% God in his full deity. Anything less, and he would be like a bridge disconnected on both ends. If He were not God, He would not have been able to live a perfect life - unable to be a perfect substitute for us in salvation. If He were not man, He would not have been subject to all the temptations, just as we are - again, not a suitable substitute.
Good sermon. There is a new theology 4me in it: that Jesus had all the attributes of God, but chose not to use them at times.I'm not sure I completely agree with SL's explication;I mean, where does the Holy Ghost fit in,or the word that says Jesus was a human in every way, subject to all the sufferings&feelings of this world.Isn't it more logic considering the other Gospels besides John that Jesus was a man led&given authority through the Holy Spirit in the Father's will(an example even to angels)?
I'm not sure I totally agree with the preacher about 'lounging'. I think he falls into the typical 'if you're not doing some kind of work in the church building then you're not serving God' mentality. In the parable, the evil lazy servants are getting drunk and beating the other servants. They are probably sleeping in the Master's bed, as well! The Lord expects us to abide in Him. Then we'll produce the fruits of the Spirit and the Father will delight in us! Jn 15:8, Gal 5:22 Maranatha!!
