Steven Lawson: Against Our Own Sin 

So true!!!I've been led by the Holy Spirit .about 6 months now and I m already a different person.I don't smoke any more,don't watch TV at all,don't listen to any music (I was addicted to music and songs and I don't miss it at all) I don't go to fb (used to be kind of addicted)don't care, that much about money and the house I own ( it used to be my obsession) and the list would go on.The Holy Spirit is freeing me from all my addictions and bad habits. Beside that I m now falling in love with Jesus.He is becoming all I need in my life even dough I have a husband and 2 children who used to be everything to me.I want to get to know him and love Him more and more with time.Only God's grace would change a person like this.Thank You my Heavenly Father and my Lord Jesus Christ for Your Holy Spirit I'm nothing without You.Glory and praise to our mighty God .!!!

I NEEDED this sermon, I needed it, sometimes my sin makes me feel as though I’m the only one who is struggling with sin, then I watch sermons like this and realize it’s defiantly just not me, there are sermons on this!

Even though Christ is dominant in my life, the struggle with the flesh is still there. When struggling, cry out to our Father in Heaven, cry out to Christ and they will strengthen you. What an awesome God and Saviour we have in Christ. Come to him. Amen

The thing that gets me is that I've given the Lord countless reasons to send me to hell and I'm 45 years old since I was 13 when I first heard about Jesus, and not only is he forgiven me of my sin. But he knows I'm going to do things that he hates again and again and again and he'll never leave me. I hope I'm one of those who loves much because he was forgiven much. Because all I want to do is tell people about the lord.

can somone please tell me... when steve lawson said. in the COST factor , jesus came out dripped in Blood, the blood of his enemies. where in the Bible does it say its the blood of his enemies, and not His own Blood which he gave for us. Because he is covered in the blood before he engages with his enemy? so would this be speculation on lawson part? or am i wrong.

This goes back to the beginning in the garden of Eden where God commanded us that we should not eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The forbidden fruit is that of the flesh. We can eat of the tree of life which is in the midst of the garden which is Christ. If Christ is in you and you in Him, then you are like a tree of life but those who have not the spirit, who walk after the flesh, is like a tree of the knowledge of good and evil. So what kind of tree are you? This is what Paul the apostle is teaching about. If you walk after the flesh you will die, and God told Adam and Eve that if they ate from the forbidden tree they would die. But if you follow Christ, you shall never die but have eternal life. The garden of Eden is a picture of the church today. Look at the church that left her first love and study it and compare it to the fall in Genesis 3. God bless you all!!

This is a good lesson. And this is coming from a Hebrew Israelite mind you

Why do all these videos say "Live" when they are all recorded? Seems deceptive for a Christian ministry.

When ancient men told the story that an all-powerful god was offended by negative human behavior (sin) ... the dye (lie) was set ... as humans became terrified of what was, and what was not sin. Had we evolved with paws, or hooves, rather than fingers, how much importance would we put on the flamboyant story of an afterlife? My guess is, the universe always existed ... no plan by a creator ever was involved. Survival of the fittest is human nature, as it is with all forms of life. Maybe one day human animals will be extinct, and life in other forms will carry on reproducing, and suffering.
