Let us not forget Obamacare (The Affordable Care Act). Having COBRA is super expensive; it is equivalent to having an additional mortgage payment. Utilize the service of an insurance agent when applying for Obamacare as you may get a better monthly premium.

I need this ASAP. I've left a previous 403b at my old job. After my father's death, I realize how important it is to make it easy for your family to access all your finance stuffs. I can barely keep up with the little nuggets all over the place. Great Video.

Hopefully, viewers are listening to your advice. I'm a retired HR Professional. So, many people don't understand their retirement. I would suggest they get a copy of the Summary Plan Description (SPD) from their HR department. Legally, the employer is required to provide it. And, it should have retirement information in it. Don't miss out on money. Especially, if you don't have long to be vested in the plan.

I've had the conversation regarding paying off credit debt being an excellent way to free up cash...especially if you've been perpetually paying less than the full balance monthly.

If you have ever worked in government, you probably contributed to a 457(b) which is mandatory 1% for at lot of organizations, you may be able to withdraw these funds. You can even roll them into your IRA.
