one turbo combo setting contain and extinguish was enough to stop purrely dead in its tracks. Essentially 2 imperms when on the field and/or crackdown. On top of having handtraps as well as generic staples like fenrir now. Now with emergency and preventer its even better. Also they were only commons in dune so cheap cheap cheap.

tldr, the diabellestar engine makes the deck more consistent whilst removing all the decks biggest weaknesses.

D-fissure over shifter to avoid having a dead card on turns after 1. This deck is mad grindy, so the long game strategies suits it better.

Yeah you can do that too, but d fissure is way worse going 2nd. The goal is to give you an edge turn 1 especially since this deck doesn't get worse post turn 1 as you've mentionned
