Is it obligatory to carry heavy makeup as a flight attendant ? I would love to walk as a flight attendant but I’m trying to restrain from makeup because it causes premature aging and skin damage. So I was wandering if I could work without the need to fill my face with makeup?🙏
Hey! No of course it’s not obligatory, it depends what airline you work for as they all have their own policies, but I’m sure you have beautiful skin and won’t need makeup anyway! A little bit of mascara and some sort of lip product would work perfectly fine ☺️
Every airline works differently and has their own policies, I know a couple of other airlines who require their crew to wear makeup too such as Emirates. They don’t ask for a full face of makeup, just a couple of things but if I want to do a full face of makeup then that’s my choice. Our policies have recently changed about 5 months ago and now makeup is no longer a requirement.
Most airlines requires the flight attendant to wear some sort of hosiery, do they specify if one can only wear pantyhose or can we thigh high holdup stockings instead?
