@LoveFoodDogs : All I want to know is WHY do hundreds of thousands of pretty boys and girls apply for cabin crew jobs ever year?? It is a job that so many people desperately want but don't get........it really hurts when you see a pretty girl or boy have this much coveted job and then quit; if only they knew how many people pine for this job day and night!!

@LoveFoodDogs : Thank you for your elaborate explanation....I do understand! By the way you were extremely lucky to have gotten hired by Delta! Did you know that every year over 40000 people apply for flight attendant jobs for Delta alone!! They say it is easier to get selected for Harvard Univ. that to get hired as a flight attendant by Delta Airlines. I disagree with you when you say that the flight attendant job is "looked down " upon in the US, certainly not if you are working for the major legacy carriers especially Delta. You may be right about it when it comes to working for regional airlines or budget airlines like Spirit etc. I do however find that the quality of flight attendants that the airlines are hiring in the US has gone down tremendously compared to what it was like in the 70s and 80s. There is no comparison between them and lets say the flight attendants in Emirates....just look at imbrigita, you would be VERY hard pressed to find a flight attendant of her caliber in US airlines....the politeness and refinement is missing!!

I was sad to leave! But the first step is the hardest. There is so much life outside the airplane and the sleepless nights. It’s very easy to get sucked into the lifestyle and just feel like tike escaped from your hands, and trust me it’s not a nice feeling. So I wanted to be brave and take the risk before I had any regrets. 🙏🏼

I think it’s normal that we strive to be happy. After 3 amazing years in the sky, I no longer felt happy & challenged. I didn’t feel any progress. I also received a better job opportunity and that is why I decided to make this change in my life. Nothing related to the country as I’m staying in Dubai. 😊

Because I never imagined myself doing this job forever. It’s a tiring job and 3 years of sleepless nights for the price of seeing the world was enough. Now I want to travel but without paying that price. ☺️🌸

It’s a very different job working in a cabin around 400 people, and flying the plane. They usually have a little bit less flying hours. It depends what do you like aviation or traveling or both. Based on that you can choose what to study. 🌸
