Katie's accent always fascinates me because its such a mix between English and American, but with northern twist and I swear she started sounding Scottish when she was talking to you! ANYWAY... ICONIC video

The same for me! I watch her on IG and I could swear she had a typical British accent. But in this video I was second guessing myself, thinking she sounds absolutely American. And then also sort of like how an American would sound after they lived in England for several years. I thought I was going a bit kookoo. So interesting! She is such an enigma! I also feel like I totally don't even notice Jamie's accent until she says something in an American accent every once in a while for fun and it's like a whack in the face! I'm glad someone else mentioned her accent, or lack of accent because I thought I was losing it listening to this video!

Katie said she picks up the accent of whoever she’s speaking to or the area she’s in, I do it, I’d grown up in Wolverhampton, very strong accent, moved to Lancashire, another very different very strong accent, within 2 weeks, I was half Wolverhampton and half Lancashire. I visit my cousins in Wales, I’ve obviously grown up visiting a lot and speaking to them on the phone, I get a Welsh Cardiff accent within 4 days. My son has inherited this trait, although he picks up American you tubers accents.

Honestly, I haven’t been this pumped about a brand of makeup since illamasqua came out. Like I am eager to give my money to you rather than buy any old MAC or Dior product. And I’m on a budget, so I’m really thinking about which item to buy first. They’re all so well thought. Stunning job on the brand, can’t wait to buy my first item.

Literally my two faves I watch religiously! My makeup has become a mixture of the two styles/techniques and looks over the years and I now own KJH brushes and Vieve products, they work beautifully together ❤️❤️❤️

Jamie needs to do a lip color that is the natural color of her lips. Something really pinky and warm. In a satin matte finish that can be built up.

I've always had slightly hooded eyes... but after 30 they started going even further down lol now I'm 32 and if I do winged eyeliner I HAVE to do the bat wing liner, but I LOVE the way it looks. It was definitely a harsh reality check tho

Come back to watch this to catch bits I missed, can’t believe that no one spotted the question Jamie asked Katie. “What do you think about purple eyes and red lips”, how many times have we all spotted new releases based on what Jamie has said, but because there was already 3 new releases mentioned (sharpener, lashes and skin nova) we were totally off our guard. The Muse collection was right there under our noses all the time 👏🏼

So excited to watch this video. Two girls together, a good old chinwag, and a whole lot of make-up. I'm certainly with Katie that Armani's concealers and foundation colours are hard to figure out. It’s felt like a month waiting for this video. Watching 2 people you regularly watch do make up is hard, I didn’t realise how hard it would be. I’ve watched once to see the conversation, now I’m going to have to watch once for Jamie’s look, then again for Katie’s look. I can’t cope, I’ve missed so much flitting between the two. I got my hooded eyes after pregnancy, I’ve also got hEDS which affects my connective tissue, only advantage being, my skin is so stretchy, I don’t have any crows feet at 43 (in 2 weeks time). It’s really depressed me because I could do winged eyeliner, now I’m rubbish at it. Sometime in the future, can we please please see you do each other’s make up, even if it’s in 2 parts. It would be amazing. How quick did that 45 minutes go though, it felt like 15 minutes. X
