heyyyy guys! hope you're all doing well. apologies for the delay with uploading another vid. I had a few girlies msging me on instagram for a hair tutorial on what I use/do to curl my hair so I thought id make it more interesting by including it within a casual get ready with me.

Do you mind sharing what heat setting you use & how long you normally keep your hair in the iron before letting it drop? (:

Hi lovely There isn’t a heat setting on my GHD curler, but I would probably have it on the highest if it did (as long as you are using heat protection!) I keep my hair wrapped round the curler for about 10seconds then hold it lightly in my hand for 10 seconds to cool before letting it drop. You could pin the curls too ! Hope that helps x

Hi lovely, thanks so much! so glad it has helped 🥰 they last a good few days however not as bouncy as when they’re first done, more of a soft wave by the 3rd day! If you want them to last longer a good tip is to pin curl them before taking them out xx

Your hair looks lovely what would you do for more of a beachy wave would you use the the wand instead?

I would either use this or a wand without a clamp, using a thicker wand and leaving the ends of your hair out slightly rather than wrapped full around the wand will give you more of a beach wave… hope that makes sense? I have a New Year’s Eve get ready with me on my channel and I show a more loose curl/wave x

Thanks lovely! Highest usually but always use heat protector. I also have super thick hair so maybe not the highest If you have thinner hair ❤️

Yes I have had mine for years, highly recommend! My curls last about 2 days, I would recommend pinning the curls after curling for longer lasting curls. Each day they will get looser, they won’t be as bouncy on day 2. Also if you have long thick hair, less likely to last xx

I binned my hairdryer years ago and it was the best decision. My hair is very like yours now, long and no split ends but wasn't before. Before it was dry, frizzy and wouldn't grow. Bin your hairdryer's girls!

Hi is this the 1 inch barrel? I have long hair just past my chest and dnt know which barrel to buy :( I want medium curly not too tight or loose

I use the 32mm barrel, I would even use the size down from that too. With long hair you definitely don’t want to get the bigger barrel as your curls will just drop straight away from the weight of your hair. You want the curls to be quite curly to start with and let them drop or brush them out to achieve a medium bouncy curl. Also pinning the curls up will help them last longer and keep their bounce :)

You find a tong better than a wand? Or straightner Like I find straighter hard to use in myself I got similar length to you but nubes finer more delicate So desperate for tips on something new. Pref not to pricy unless I can use Klarna with quick as fffff shipping lol as I forgot I need it within leas thsn a week plus I m in spain 🇪🇸

I found my curls last longer when using a tong but I do love the curls that a wand creates. Honestly can’t beat GHD, definitely my favourite but also recommend beauty works wand and it is affordable xx
