I ll just leave it here, the quality and the natural light that gives us an opportunity to see actual make up products on skin is great!!! Thanks a lot for that!
hey allana, besides using danessa myricks' products, I was wondering if you could use more black owned brands in your videos. I'm curious about mented cosmetics and uoma beauty, I know you've mentioned some of these brands before but maybe mention them more throughout your videos.
Ugh as soon as I see “get ready with me” and “new makeup” from Allana I KNOW I’ll be adding things to my cart online 😆 eager to check out more of Danessa Myricks products when they launch on Sephora’s site
I personally still love using face pallets for an easy every day look. I love the Hourglass ones and have used them for years. I feel like I can get an entire look out of one product, and it makes it quick and easy for me to look out together without having to put a lot of thought into which blush or bronzer I should use that day. But I appreciate wanting to curate your own look and play with makeup. To each their own!
I think what made your under eye concealer ball up was the porefessional primer, it happened to me before. Not a fan of that primer tbh, I’m still using it just for the sake of using it up!
That Marc Jacobs palette sparked a 90's memory. Clinique used to use that packaging but in a soft mint with gold closures. They rebranded at some point but their old packaging was stunning and lux.
I do relate to what you were saying about keep buying new things when we have something that works so well for us. I've realised I'm a completionist. It's like I just have to have the full collection even though I absolutely know I don't need it and probably won't even use it. I'm trying to be better with that this year!
Love you and Jamie so much! You two are so sweet, sincere and you don't take yourself so seriously. I really enjoy your vlogs as well as your beauty vids. 😘
Your makeup in this video is actually so perfect for everyday but also so put together and flattering. I was SO excited you made a video about it after watching the vlog. Your makeup looks are always my favourite to watch even though they’re simple. It’s makeup I actually do haha
Love love love the stacked hoops!! Super pretty! Love the Vieve blushes too, stunning!! I am going to have to order the blushes and the Auric glow lotion!!
every time im watching your videos and see your subscription number im so surprised you dont have millions!! thats what you deserve !! the quality of all you content is always top notch!! so much love for u!!
Make sure you store the brown pen tip down, so the product don’t fall to the bottom. Also try and hold it so it flows down, so holding your hand higher! Does it make sense? That’s the optimal way to use the pen, and I’m sure you won’t have problems with the dots ☺️
Girl, I started watching you like a week ago, binged many of your videos and you’ve already changed my latest preferences! I’ve started liking warm tones and pinky/peachy lip balms 😍I used to hate warm tones on me...
I was actually admiring the earrings in your vlog when you were wearing this look! You are so beautiful! Your eyebrows! And your lips, I love that they aren’t overdone and don’t stick out and look puffy and swollen. They suit you so well. Love this look!
I have the same issue with the face palettes and never finding one that I love all of the products in. That being said, I actually just chip out the one shade I dont like and replace it with one that I do that might be in a single pan. For example, in the Smashbox Cali Contour kit, love all of the shades except the highlighter because its WAY too dark for me....so what did I do? I chopped it up and mixed in my The Balm Mary-Louminizer, re-pressed it back into the pan, and ta-da! A full face palette I'll actually use and travel with. Its a great way of also using up those single products that are at pan or broken or whatever. Just make your own shade!
Lol did you see Benefit came out with an extra large version of the Hoola bronzer?? 😂😂 I thought of you instantly when I saw that. Would last 2 life times
I do still like face palettes. The park ave Princess contour palette I have from Tarte is a perfect range of shades for winter, spring, summer and autumn, the highlight shades are yellow and brightening so I’m actually using all of it. The pro blush and highlight palette gives me a good choice of blushes depending on what eye and lip I’m wearing, the highlight works and the bronzer is a nice medium tone that can work for a lot of skin tones, depending how well you build it. The highlight palette I have is the same, winter through to summer shades with various tones of a similar shade. I think I might be quite selective about the ones I buy making sure I will use at least 90% of them after getting the Smashbox Christmas 2018 one and finding a few of the highlights I won’t use very often. It does give me options for going out out make up, but those I wouldn’t use daily. I want that Vieve blush though, as soon as I watched her launch video, that shade caught my eye x
I learned to u my make up for every day and everywhere i go i recive many compliments.... so beautiful your new colletion...i love everthing!!!!! Thank u my dear
The Tatcha Silk Canvas Protecting Primer is awesome for pore coverage, doesn't dry and isn't slimy! FYI buy the mini. It will take forever to use it up. I only use 1/2 a grain of rice per application (nose and nose/cheek pore farm area). I learn a lot from you. Thanks from sunny Florida. Cheers.
Everything looks beautiful!! I really want some of the Vieve products. I’ve followed Jamie for years. The shades she’s come up with are truly stunning. I love your earrings. They all work so well together. Finally the Auric products I love. 🙃🙃💜
A note on the brow pen: I find that if you have lots of product underneath, it can sometimes make the ink go on patchy or non as consistent. Especially because you used a product like brow freeze, it might be kind of like trying to write in marker or watercolor over top a crayon. Y’know? Lol
In defense of face palettes, they are useful for people who have no idea where to start. I was on the hunt for one that made it easy for me to know what I needed because I wasn't using blush or bronzer or contour or highlight. I just had so many choices to make, and I wanted someone to choose for me.
Ardell were so ahead of the brow game! I've been using the 'Stroke a Brow' for yeaaaaars and still consider it one of the best (if not the best) brow pen out there! 🖤
Girl it is freezing in Texas LOL We only get like 3 cold days in the winter where I live (San Antonio) and this state IS NOT prepared for this weather like AT ALL. Some people don’t have water, there’s power outages everywhere. They’re like on purpose turning off our power every other hour. Some friends haven’t had power since Sunday! People can’t work (even I that I WFH) It feels like the beginning of the pandemic again cause people are freaking out and buying EVERYTHING. Oh yeah and we have no gas!! lol
Think the bronze blush highlighter compact would be brilliant if you could order the shade of each that would suit u rather than what they put together. I guess be too much a pain to do but that packaging is stunning
Brow envy! The ABH looks so fab on you. After just a few minutes, it makes my brows not just drop, but droop. I've experimented with less, more; brushing them more, brushing them less... all on totally clean brows and with a clean spoolie. The Benefit brow setter + the Refy pomade are THE BUSINESS for me, so I'm going to stop messing with success, too.
I just love this look! Goes with EVERYTHING! I wish I could tell you some products to try but I’m trying to clean out my makeup and go thru what I have which is a lot lol 😂
Would you make a video about the top essential fav brushes? I never seem to find the perfect one and hate buying tools/ products that end up collecting dust
I love what you said about your brow routine and the need to be consumers. I think about how my mom has 1 product in each category and uses the same things every day 🤯 I on the other hand own a small Sephora store in my home... looking to find a happy medium in 2021
Hi! When you talked about the brow pen balling up it made me think of the valentines I used to make a kid where you draw with a crayon and then do a watercolor paint over it 😂 I feel like if you would do the waxy brow product after doing the inky product just to finish them it might be better or maybe the pen itself is messed up from having the waxy stuff on the brush?
