I typically don't feel much, I think have become desensitized to those words from good preaching, to be honest 😅 I've been born again, committed to church for over 10 years. I love when Craig explains the true meanings of the words, that is when I start to think about how I can make changes to sanctify myself to be more like Christ, and I am nowhere near the quality of character Jesus had! I do have a question, are we able to become without sin, in the sense that we are not sinning anymore? because the Apostle John mentions it a few times in 1 John, getting stronger each time with reminders of God's grace in between; 1 John 2:1 “that you may not sin”, 1 John 3:5-6 “in Him(Jesus) there is no sin, whoever abides in him does not sin”, 1 John 3:8-9 “He who sins is of the devil... Whoever has been born of God does not sin” and 1 John 5:18.
2 of my favourite things about learning from Pastor Craig: He teaches a critical subject of mental well-being the Christ way. He speaks of his shortcomings/failure/sin, too. Transparency makes Christianity relatable
Thank you for speaking of sin. Too many pastors are afraid to speak the truth nowadays because people jump up with hurt feelings and don't want to go to the church after. Pastor Craig I am grateful for all that you teach. Yes if we don't recognize our sins we drift away from God. Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice for us and we need to glorify him!
People act like sin is supposed to be taboo. That’s the problem with the modern church, we don’t want to talk about repentance, sin, holiness.. we want our cake and eat it too.. what happened to the blood of Jesus, repentance.. good for you preacher

Sin, Confession, and Repentance are all necessary topics when learning about and from the Bible. Whether we "like" it or not... we were all born sinners, which is why we need Jesus. It's the good and the bad. You can't have one without the other.
Repentance is important, but some Churches pray on guilt ...of your sin...You know when your wrong or did wrong...Be big enough to go to God and ask for Forgiveness....🙏🙌🔥✝️💥

How do you forgive yourself for sins that were committed long ago. Like...childhood. God forgives me and I believe that. I no longer commit this sin. But I still feel unsettled regarding my sins. How do I find that peace?
@caeres3779, guilt is such a heavy trap. And so are the lies of the enemy. If you confess your sins, He is faithful and just to forgive your sins and to cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). If you have repented, turned away toward God, as it sounds like you have, your sins are gone as far as God is concerned. You now have the difficult task of forgiving yourself. Lord and Father, please give this child of yours whom you dearly love and have forgiven the strength and ability to forgive themself of these sins of the past. Thank you for your liberation, your redemption, your freedom we can all walk in. Amen.
Good point. In your opinion, do remorse and repentance come back to back, or simultaneously, or are they totally separable? I see things working differently for different people.

Thank you for still continuing to stand with me for my breakthrough. God is definitely at work behind the scenes and I am longing to see it in the flesh. And my friend Catherine whom I pray for to not only return to Jesus got a little cross from me as I started praying for her. It has had some weird things (fell down without anyone pushing, showed up when she lost it etc.) Plus: Her little dog usually bites everything, but he seems to be afraid of that little wooden cross. It is really weird, and I pray Jesus uses this to show her His power...
It is very rare that I can feel anything if I’m being honest; I have a TBI and nerve damage and I don’t feel connected or understand myself most of the time. God speaks to me in dreams and when he’s gotten onto me, I’ve repented. I don’t naturally have self awareness. So no, I don’t always feel that deep sense of sorrow and I feel bad. The Lord has told me to run my own race and to avoid comparison, but being a Christian with a disability is hard when no one is speaking to you and things are just different with you than they are other Christians. I had another Christian persecute me and spiritually abuse me because of it. I hope this could be an encouragement to any one reading this: I have no choice but to rely on Jesus completely and not myself. I’m too foolish and weak, but He’s strong. It’s by grace and faith, my works are so worthless. At times, I recognize my sin quickly: I’m thankful.

Yesssss… another great message we all need to hear. The distinction between regret, remorse, and actual repentance needs to be spoken of always. The illustration of wearing lots of things to insulate you from the cold… as sin insulates you from feeling God’s presence was very strong! I’ve also danced around with “my fwend” far too many times in my life… greatfully, God used it to draw me close! Thanks Pastor Craig!

1 John 3:4 defines sin as transgression of Torah (the Father's Law, instructions). YAH's people are those who guard His commands AND have belief in Yeshua. Repentance is performing teshuvah... returning to the Master in obedience Rev 12:17, 14:12, 15:3 They are singing the song of Mosheh (Torah) AND the song of the Lamb (Yeshua). His people who have been grafted in walk in His set apart ways

Recognizing that we are sinners is the absolute TRUTH! That is why Jesus Christ died for our sins. To give us a clean slate. It doesn’t mean we aren’t worthy and he doesn’t love us. You are always worthy. But the “feel good” church style and the “God is love” approach is not the truth. And it is our duty as Christians to reciprocate his love for us and what he did on that cross by honoring him and trying to be more like Jesus Christ.
I love this church it’s brought a sense of conviction in me to change for the good to recognize where I fall short and want to pursue God not to be perfect but to find myself and who I am through our Lord Jesus Christ ❤️

😢Thank you for this message. This message has been the most powerful message for me in the series habits of a healthy heart. I started crying because of all the time and years (14-19 years) i was distancing myself with all of my sins from my parents, and from God. I never got to tell my parents who raised me (because i was adopted) that i appreciate all that they did for me. I am crying because i never got close to my biological father who would always check up on me throughout the years. I never got close to him because of all the sins that i was committing. Recently he had a stroke and a heart attack and i don't think hes going to speak again, so i can't enjoy the time that i wanted to enjoy with him. Thank you pastor craig and Life Church for allowing me to view this video and allowing me to cry and feel my emotions. Thank you again. I REPENT AGAINST ALL MY SINS IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER, THE SON, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT. 🙏AMEN!🙏

Our flesh is weak, but the Spirit is strong. The door is always open, Just dont give up, and keep trying. Be sure to spend time in prayer and His word daily to build that foundation, and develop that relationship with Jesus. Its essential. He cares for you, and has a special purpose for you. Seek Him 100%, and you will find victory over sin. And when temptation comes to mind, capture it immediately, and pray for the Holy Spirit to remove it, and it will flee. The longer you entertain it, the harder it will be to avoid. Run from it if you have to. Remember, God knows your heart, that is the important thing to always remember. We are not perfect, but as long as you are looking to Jesus for help, and your desire is to please Him, You will overcome. Its not always easy being a Christian, but it will all be worth it one day. I've been very isolated, but God did not leave me: it's just been taking a long time for my eyes to adjust from the darkness and fear and pain I lived in before, to the light of God's goodness and truth. Sin we all done the thing with sin it kills me because the voice of the devil is always telling us do something wrong and then I pray Jesus get rid of that voice and speak to me not that I send no more but the temptation is always there and to do something that you know is wrong and you know God will be upset.
