Let me just give a proper shout out to the main man here... I took a couple of lessons with Andy... and his patience and explanation style is top notch... Before I met him I learned by ear but now he helped me a lot to understand what the heck I was doing on guitar. Enough said, I highly recommend lessons with him!!!!

I'm more of a Bebop player and I thought it was kind of funny how your Altered licks felt more comfortable in my hands than some of your more slidy pentatonic licks. I really liked the beginning of lick #3 where you move up a minor 6th then descend a bit of the Gmajor scale into that double slide. Super cool-sounding stuff. Also, I feel like smooth jazz is fundamentally built for the guitar, since a lot of the licks work quite easily on the guitar, whereas bebop is a bit more awkward since it was invented by sax and horn players.
