😂 top tier comedy .seen every episode 3x over and still gets a chuckle out of me

British comedy at its best with so many up and coming stars what a great time for Brian comedy there were so many great programs to watch it’s a shame those times will never happen again

I honestly love how from the very first moment they saw each other, it's obvious that Bruce really fancys Wendy too; he's just scared stiff of her (and the consequences he imagines for them being together) at the same time XD She is lovely too. Just my type of woman.

Corporal Wendy, the hero of the hour the tower of power, she beat that Bastard Marsh 🙂

Not only do I remember the series with fondness but I remember this episode when the series was repeated in 1993 on UK Gold. Ever since the first episode, Marsh has been making life hell for Leckie and he finally gets his comeuppance from not just a fellow corporal but a female one and one who has got Bruce firmly in her sights. The reason why Get Some In! came about is because both Esmonde and Larbey did their National Service and, as for the sitcom's title, well, that comes from what was shouted at those who did National Service to 'get some experience in' or, in the case of National Service squaddies, to 'get their knees brown'!

i cant belive anybody could dislike get some in.....its brilliant!

I had a female RAMC Cpl just like Wendy when I went through Keogh Barracks. And one of the best Cpls I knew and that’s from an infantryman!
