Ollaytambo is pronounce - oy-yay-taytambo. The double (LL) had a "yuh" sound ❤ Thank you for this video!!! My Peru Trip is in 2 weeks and I can't wait to see this beautiful country!

Have fun! i am going on the 23, was going to skip Machu Picchu and go on the 9th but I ended up delaying and got a circuit 4 and Huayna Picchu climb ticket

Did you directly buy the transportation tickets to maccu picchu or was it through a tour group? Also while there is it mostly cash or do they accept credit card?

Hi there! We booked our transportation with a tour company, very helpful and easy. Yes both are used. CC they will charge an extra 3-5% more. Hope that helps! 👍 have a great trip! .....But we did buy our MP tickets in advance on line!

Wow, great video! I would love to visit Peru It looks like it has many stunning mountain views and great hiking and I also love touring ancient ruins! I do get a little nervous though when I see travel advisory's agents travel to Peru. Do you feel Peru is an overall safe country?

Hi there and Thank you! You definitely hit the nail on the head..... SO MANY BEAUTIFUL trek and Mountain! We were amazed! You definitely need to visit. We did see protests while we were going on but very controlled and nothing crazy. We spent alot of time in Cusco and walked around at night and felt safe. All the areas we visited we walked at night and felt fine.....I can't speak about ALL areas..... but main square in Cusco and Arequipa were good. Huacachina was so small, not much to do after sunset beside party (not really our thing) not you'll enjoy it if it's yours. Lima is a big city...Miraflores was great. Thank you for your feedback!

Can't believe you put a general hike no matter how good the view as #1 and over seeing ruins. You can travel so many other places for breath taking mountain views. But Peru is typically fir ruins

Well, I didn't consider Ausangate a "general" hike at all! I just love being in nature and the mountains blew my mind, they were gorgeous! While ruins are beautiful too, this is only my opinion.....I respect that you prefer ruins, that's what's great about experiencing new places.... it hits everyone differently! 👍

Hi Krazykara! I did a video on that Salkantany FAIL! You'll have to check it out! You'll get to see the climb, lake and we talk about the conditions. But overall I'd say it was the hardest hike we did out of them all, in the video you see why! 🙃
