I used to when using olive oil, I have eczema on my hands and olive oil would irritate the mess out of my hands. Smh eventually I just stopped using olive oil lol
@@Clair-ds8fm The beginning is literally the end result for my hair. I'm really getting tired of spending so much experimenting on hair products. Going bald is looking reeeal nice😄
For all y’all wondering why she uses gloves it’s not really anything to do with sanitation when doing your own hair, it’s mostly- #1 for better slip & #2 for shinier twists because none of the products are transferring to the skin the hair gets to soak up ALL the product #3 if you happen to have any snagged/hangnails it doesn’t effect your strands I have been doing this for years and my twist outs are always bomb!!! Kudos to this lady! She knows what’s up!!
If you handle your hair often, imagine how many gloves you will be throwing away and contributing to their accumulation in landfills. You can wash your hands, dry them, and apply lotion afterwards. Not only will the feeling be gone, but you will also be lowering your carbon footprint/ impact on the environment. Just something to consider.
Tysmmmm I had a whole breakdown at school cause my hair and was really late to class but when I watched this it helped so much now I know what hairstyle to wear to school
Your hair looks amazing! I just watched your video while you had relaxed hair and you recommended a lot of good products. Now you being natural has left me very confused. But again, beautiful hair!
Thank you , thank you , thank you , I’ve been searching on RU-vid for about 6 months trying to find someone who has the exact hair like mine!! Finally !! I’ll be watching more of ur hair videos ❤️❤️
Hey, new to the channel. Great twist out, which Im gonna try to attempt to do on my hair. I was reading the comments about using gloves. Using gloves prevents from breakage and snagging the hair when you do wash n gos
I just big chopped and I'm high porosity and was told to do LOC but I noticed you do LCO is your hair high or low porosity. Love your video, very detailed.
I just did the big chop about 2 months ago. My hair was past mid-back length so i cut off quite a bit. I transitioned for about 17 months so my hair is about the length of yours in this video. I'm loving the ease of it, as the transitioning hair was somewhat of a nightmare. My issue now is dryness. It seems that shampoo is making my hair dry. Do you cowash more often that washing? What advice can you give me if any?
I just big chopped earlier this week and our hair is nearly the same length. I opted for a perm rod set today because I have wasn’t sure about doing twist out. After seeing your results, I think I chose wrong ☺️❤️ lovely dear 👏🏾👏🏾
Racheal Akua Not great unfortunately. My ends are way too blunt, even when they’re soaking wet. It was really difficult to get them smooth on the rod. BUT I wore a MASSIVE picked out ‘70s/Angela Davis’ afro over weekend, and received tons of compliments at my family reunion 🤗
The only thing that ever worked was when I used that old school black prostyle gel and made my twist small with blue roller set. It came out beautiful, outrageously defined. People kept asking if that was my real hair. That gel works wonders it just flaks and looks like dandruff that's why I stopped using it
