There are many reasons your track can fail to get licensed. Even if it's a great song with good production. This mistake is an easy one to avoid that most musicians don't consider.
Yes... and I have had good results getting placements by cutting my vocal at around 2 kHz which inadvertently brings the lows, mids, and highs up without having to boost them, and gives room for the dialog. I learned...it's better to cut than boost, which helps in many aspects. 🎉😊
An excellent, and pragmatic number of pro tips that I for one will be taking to heart. Some of these ideas i have implemented, but the idea about the delay/reverb was very cool and have not considered that one. Thanks much.
Makes a lot of sense. I usually tend to put the vocal front and centre in my music, but I haven't submitted anything for sync (yet). Thanks for the video.
Is it possible you might have time to perhaps provide an example or a link to an example? Perhaps a "before and after?" (i.e., "this is what was presented and this is how it was modified for sync"). Or - is it in one of the tutorials? Thanks for your insight and advice - it's very much appreciated.
