I have been following you on RU-vid for at least a couple years. I love your videos! A little about me...I work in an office full-time while creating art in my spare time. I would love to go full time with my art but that is not an option as of yet.😢 Thanks for sharing!!❤

Thank you for this video. It’s honesty. It’s creativity. About me. I’m choosing not to share specifics, but I have three degrees, had two careers, lived/worked in two countries as an adult and one country for the the first seven years of my life from the age of 6 weeks. For the first time I’m asking myself, which direction do I take now, career wise. I feel burned out. Lost, as what I’m meant to do. Yet from Year 4 (10 years old), in primary school, I knew what I wanted to do. Now I query why am I asking this question at my age. You could say I’m someone whose given my all to my careers and now I’m exhausted. I think what drew me to your channel was your honesty, your journey about being your own boss with your own business, as I thought I would like to be my own boss some day, though not a creative one, but in my trained area. However, it’s very unlikely I’ll be brave enough to make this change. And I like how you share about living in another country, as it brings back memories from my own experiences, and some day, in the distant future, I’d like to see Denmark and surrounding countries. Thank you for your inspiring and enjoyable videos 🦋🐞🌱

There are many things I've done I probably never would have without help, I think it's important to remember none can succeed without help, you don't have to put all the expectations on yourself alone.
@@forindet Thank you for your kind reply. I thought I’d share that yesterday afternoon I was brave enough and applied to do my Masters, though part time, starting in Semester two. Rather than start in Semester one I thought I’d save up first for a new lap top. Even though I have three degrees, not one is a Masters. I am on holidays at the moment, so I’ve been doing three things reading a lot, binge watching inspirational/motivational RU-vid videos and contemplating my career. I feel good about this decision, like a weight lifted from my shoulders. Don’t get me wrong, this decision has a financial consequence, but a risk I’m willing to take. Maybe, in the future I may consider being my own boss/business owner. However, there is always a PhD which would be a dream come true (probably more than being my own boss/business owner). Have you made any plans for your career in 2024? I hope you achieve greater success and recognition. Keep dreaming big 😊
@@catherinepatterson4720 Thank you! No grand plans really, just working on improving finances. Congratulations on starting a masters! I also sometimes still consider a more academic path, but can't find a subject I'm interested enough in 😅
@@forindet I understand the financial situation, it certainly influences what options, opportunities and direction we take in life, which is why I’m doing my Masters part time. It took me a lot of contemplation (thinking) and planning what my next five years will look like when deciding which program to apply. I feel happy with my decision.
