I watched them for the first time a couple of years ago on the Latin Grammy and I was amazed with their talent. Ordered the cd online within minutes. Love them.

What great young men. Each one of them so talented.....each one of them so handsome. But there is more to them then that, they are truly genuine people who are kind and caring, and who have a true love of family. I love all three because they seem to like each other and each has a beautiful voice and I hope they stay together for a long time. I see that Ignazio plays the piano and drums. Gosh, to be born with all that talent - amazing! He is blessed as is Piero and Gianluca.

They are so blessed to have #1. great family background and foundation and #2. great management. Humberto and Tony have handled folks like Andrea Boccelli very successfully and I think this bodes well for these boys. We all know that the highway to early (young) success is littered with a lot of wreckage. I really believe these boys have th background and management that will serve their talent well. I wanted to correct God gave to much talent to God gave you so much talent you don't need anything else. I watch both DVDs just about every week. Love all three of you. How proud your parents must be.
I'm sure you've also seen some of the many other interviews they've done, so you know that they tend to respond to the personality of the interviewer & the environment in which the interview is taking place. Obviously, the more subdued and serious tone of this particular interview had a lot to do with that. Yes, after months on the road, they're tired & miss their families, but even at their young ages, they are consummate professionals, who love what they do. Music and performing is their life.
Beverly... you struck on a very interesting point... just how subdued the guys are in this video... especially Gianluca. It becomes apparent that several months away from Montepagano, Naro and Marsala appear to have taken their toll on the guys, and as Gianluca mentioned several times, staying in contact with the family is very important. This video reminds me of the New Zealand interview of 2 years ago. The guys (especially Gianluca) were tired and just wanted to go home... they're homesick!

If you've not had the opportunity to really get to know the members of Il Volo (Gianluca Ginoble, Ignazio Boschetto, & Piero Barone), their personalities (rather subdued here), their kind & gentle hearts, & the magic of their glorious music, it's not possible to understand the devotion of their millions of fans around the world. If you aren't familiar with their music but would like to be, I would suggest you google O Sole Mio Il Volo. As I always say, to hear them once is to love them forever.
Don't you wish you could pass this quality and talent, humility, manners , and responsible attitude to some of the young singers today? that would be wonderful and perhaps change some of their big heads superior attitudes..
+Alessandra Leo I see that when something is so impressive and extraordinary like Il Volo, we tend to assimilate it to something more known and scale it down... nobody can be blamed for this, it's human nature. But what is similar between Il Volo and Jonas Brothers, other than they are 3 and they are all black-haired? They don't even do a loosely similar kind of music. I won't discuss artistic merits or talent because it's a matter of personal opinions and tastes must be respected, but really it's like comparing apples and oranges.
Please Ignazio don't get anymore tattoos. You are so handsome you don't need to destroy your body. Why have you started to wear an ear ring? You have the most beautiful smile and don't need anything else to distract from it. I know you are young and the most hip of the three but God gave to much talent you don't need anything else.
