Beware of the sweeper/slider. The Pirates through all their history have had a load of great hitters but no real pitching icons. Last time they had a great pitcher was Cole but NOT a Pirate icon. You will be and will bring back the greatness back to Pittsburgh.

From a minor league prospect perspective, Pirates content > all other teams

I’m a die-hard Mets fan & while we have some really exciting prospects there are some freaks in the minors banging on the doors to MLB for their teams. This is good for baseball, but man I wish some of these guys were on the Mets. Two prospects stand out. One pitcher. One hitter. It’s like they were engineered to be baseball players. That pitcher is obviously Paul Skenes. The hitter, Jackson Holliday, son of former MLB great Matt Holliday was arguably born to be a baseball player. Both are physical specimens who look like they were assembled in a lab to be a baseball player archetype. MLB is getting a huge infusion of talent which will make the game exciting. I root for a big market team but I want small market teams to have a chance. Fans of these teams shouldn’t be resigned to the fact that they’re out of the race by May. His voice kills me. The dude is a stud, but very hard listen
