The Mets bias is unreal. He's super good. I don't think anyone disputes that. He is also maybe the most smoke and mirrors pitcher in the Majors. Consistently some of the best velo, whiff rate, and K rate. However. He has also consistently finished around the 50th percentile in both hard hit% and BB%, and the middle of the pack in these important stats isn't nearly good enough to consider him "the best without a doubt" coming off an entire season where he didn't throw a pitch.

Clay Holmes is nasty, the only reason he isn't #1 is because there's about that 1/10 outing where the sinker isn't biting much. But when it bites, its one of the best pitches in baseball.

I think Matt Brash should’ve gotten the nod over Munoz. He was the most consistent pitcher in the Mariners pen last year. Munoz struggled like crazy once Sewald left.

If these rankings are strictly projections for the upcoming year, fine it makes sense and I get it, but would it kill you to give props to the one of the definitive top guys from this past season, considering the projections (and thus the main content of the video) are based on past performance? As a Braves fan I actually agree with this ranking for Iglesias. There were times where he just looked vulnerable. Do I like him as our closer? Sure. Is there other guys I’d rather have? Absolutely. But saying I’m perfectly ok with him as our closer seems to line up perfectly with him being right smack in the middle of the rankings

As a Braves fan I'm really not that upset at the ranking. Atlanta's bullpen is unique in the fact there's no one or two really amazing pitchers, instead it's a bunch of really good guys who'll typically fly under the radar. Sort of a "quality in quantity" approach.
