Your sure not be complaining on the job you currently have because it not what you expect to be to the profession you want. Take the every job and task one day at a time and as soon as you know it. I needed this. God Bless. God gave me this job. I hate it. I usually self sabotage and ruin the opportunities God gives me to get out of my financial situation. I tend to quit by just not showing up. Not this time. I only need to stick this job out for 4-5 weeks to save the money I need and I was already thinking today “maybe I should quit or ask for less shifts” Nah. I need to stand firm and handle business this time.

I mean I get the overall lesson with jobs etc. but let’s not pretend like most of the time the hardest worker is just used up and abused, working hard and being the best at places like Walmart McDonald’s etc gets most ppl nowhere bc alot of who they choose for managerial etc is politics. So y I agree mostly, I also disagree. I’ve seen so many ppl used and tossed away at jobs. Myself included. She losing hope is easy

As much as I like the message it's quite misleading and possibly damaging to your mental health. Positive attitude is good, but don't be naive enough to work hard at a minimum wage job wasting your energy and live. These jobs are designed to keep you down no matter how hard you work, Only way to get out of that rabbit hole is to work at something you love doing, study hard. From personal experience as someone who had immense luck with the job I managed to aquire I say go aim for part time and do something on the side to learn independence because no matter how much they pay full time independence is the most valueble skill out there. To sum it up Work part time to sustain life and the rest of the hours work on yourself. I am still in college working only 17 hours per week and I can easily afford 700€ for rent while pursuing my dreams I hope your archive the same!

Lol. The top is manager at McDonalds? Because the world rarely works like that. In fact, if you’re very good at a mid-level job - you’ll get stuck there, because either everyone above is holding theirs till they die or retire - or you’re seen as too necessary to bother giving a raise/promotion.
