Because it is nepotism lol. It goes beyond that really. He makes the lakers sign his agent as GM, his hand picked coach and now draft his son who can’t play.
What would LeBron know about what a father would do??? He never had a father. That’s why he behaves like a child trapped in a man’s body. The man blames everyone for his multitude of Finals failures, except himself. He is the embodiment of a man raised without a father, and it shows.
This is clear cut nepotism i.e. it's not what you know/do, but who you know/associated with no matter what their qualifications/skill set. But he only played one year of college ball and not even in a powerhouse basketball conference like the ACC or Big12. It's not like he was this teen phenom like his pops that he's good for one year in college and then bounce to the league? What was the rush? His dad is going to retire in a couple of years that was the rush whether he was ready or not and he's obviously and clearly he's not ready. That's it. End of story.
@haunfrench7180 It doesn't matter one bit coz organization's can hire whoever they want to hire regardless. I was just rebutting ESPN hosts saying that it wasn't nepotism why he got drafted. It's not a bad thing per se, but it can be an issue in the locker room if it gets swept under the rug .
Just seriously think, if this was not LeBron's son, there would be no discusson of him being drafted this early !!! Who else gets drafted out of college ave. 4.O pts a game 😮😮😮 I wish Bronny the best , because of his heart condition he had last July !!! His health is more important than the NBA ❤❤❤❤ He will be the most scrutinized player in the league ,because being LeBron' s son. Now that is a lot of pressure on Brony ,LeBron & the Lakers , this comming season no doubt .
Jamesmurray, In a way @benben------ YES, in a lot of ways he does Run the Lakers, he gets what he want I mean in Real Life he is actually treated like a REAL--KING, The Owner Jeanne Buss Worships the ground LEBRON, walks on The General Manager of the Lakers would Jump in the LAKE if Lebron told him to, At the end of the day, ( Okay what about the Young Talented athelete that had to prove himself worthy of the N.B.A, That worked hard in College and was good Then here,s BRONNY THAT ALL HE HAD TO DO IS AVERAGE ONLY 4--POINTS IN COLLEGE WITH THE TROJANS AND EASILY BY THE SNAP OF HIS FATHER,S FINGERS LEBRON BEING A (( KING MAKES IT POSSIBLE FOR HIM TO GET A FREE-PASS AND RIDE JUST BECAUSE ( HE,S LEBRON JAMES AND IT,S PRETTY SAD---😞 THAT BECAUSE BRONNY JUST HAPPENED TO BE LEBRONS SON HE HE GETS IN THE N.B.A IF BRONNY WAS,NT LEBRONS SON THEIR IS NO-,WAY HE WOULD BE PLAYING IN THE N.B.A.
I hope he does well, he seems like a good kid! He 100% got drafted because of who he is and not what he can do though. He won’t even be in the league after his dad retires
They were fine with him going anywhere else IF they offered him a two year deal. Only the lakers were gonna guarantee that so it is what it is. If any other GM had any balls they’d of drafted Bronny and then make the lakers trade for him
only blind fans wont see it as nepotisim.... the same blind fans saying the 55th pick has no bearing so its ok to have a father duo tandem... i am a fan for a father duo tandem, if only for enjoyment... dont tell me lakers drafted bronny to help them win a chip.. remind everyone some borderline 50+ pick did have great names, the likes of manu ginobili and paul millsap...
I'm a lebron fan and it's clear to me now that lebron don't care about winning rings anymore he just wanted to get his friend JJ a coaching job his son drafting to his team and lebron's last max contract was his focus not winning I feel for us fans of the Lakers shameful
Some ppl on the comments act llke they never got the adult child a job. Or worked a job were multiple family members worked and move up the latter faster than ppl who been on a job for years.
Just a quick question 🙋 what makes you think 🤔 that the Celtics were not thinking about Bronny James or his trade value for another year to pick someone else would be able to make the Celtics a better team next year
@@illson2019 somebody averaging 22 ppg went undrafted while somebody who averaged 10 ppg is a first round pick, ppg means nothing. it's about what teams think they can turn you into. plenty of 6'1 and 6'2 guards drafted. picks 3 and 8 are short. half the second round players won't be in the nba soon regardless, it literally doesn't matter.
It is nepotism where Brony only played less than a year scoring 4 points after having a heart situation. Other players with more play should be drafted.
It shows you if you work hard take performance enhancing drugs and manipulates the Front office mislead the public saying that you want Bronny to make his own way in the league
Love all of the hate, when things like this happen involving a person they don't root for. The same crowd, that seems to get it, with numerous cases around sports, with coaches hiring their sons, or brothers. When people talk about the lack of diversity in hiring, you hear them immediately. "They can hire who they want. It's their team" Now all of a sudden, they're passionate against nepotism or favoritism. Hilarious.
