I was at C2E2 4/25/15 and got to meet Chris Sabat and Sean Schemmel. They gave my brother a nice get well message and Chris also shared a really interesting story!
thing is... imagine Goku, as a character, going for actual surgery... not that living mummy screaming at a needle, i mean dim lights in the operating theatre... he would lose his shit
I love how they start causally talking about a terrifying thing that could happen during a surgery, while being recorded for a person about to go through surgery
Defo, it wasn't 100% when he started talking but Sean got his goku voice perfectly and then Chris got his. So weird looking at them with cartoon vocals coming out of their mouths
@Princelawrenz Hamlin It goes back to Monica Rial accusing Vic of sexually assaulting her with no witnesses and no proof. They then used it to attack Vic both professionally and personally in order to ruin his career and his life. Since it was later revealed that they made fun of Vic's mannerisms and political views, it looks like the whole thing was just an excuse to get rid of him simply because they didn't like him.
It is..until you realize what sean and chris did to vic with all the lies and harrassment..i will always love and respect goku and vegeta but never again will i care about the voice actors..they aren't the same nice people they use to be sadly..to me goku and vegeta are separate people from the actor's..sean and Chris and Monica are horrible and crual people

They ruined his career because Monica rial (Kai bulma) got jealous that he was getting more attention because of super broly. So she said bullshit lies about Vic like the sexual harassment. Chris sabat or Sean schemmel called Vic all sorts of bad stuff. Remember the Funimation leaks??? They weren’t meant for laughs they were meant to show their hypocrisy.. Everything that they said about Vic has no evidence to prove this. Innocent until proven guilty

I went to a dbz panel that Chris & Sean were supposed to be hosting, but Chris told us that Sean wasn't feeling well and so it would just be him. I asked if it was a heart virus and Chris just laughed.
@DestructiveEnergy i don't know much about about it so don't take my word, but from what my mind can remember, the voice actor of OG broly got accused of something (by the va of bulma if I can remember correctly, but don't quote me) and the va's of goku and vegeta went along with it but the va of Android 17 helped the broly va. In the end, the va of broly lost his job

(I even saw your replied that he's ok) anyways i met those two at comic con and they gave me a signature of goku and vegeta because i really want to work with them someday as the dragon adventures. Goku even told ne what to4kids and pokemon that day. Hope your bro gets the chance to them someday. He deserves it more than anyone.
I feel bad for Chris' grandpa....... imagine how sad he is when he found out that the other leg that got removed is the wrong leg and his other leg needs to get remove aswell

@George Grubb I'm talking about how people are treated. That's not the same. Goku didn't know the conditions prior. That just makes Goku an idiot, not a jerk. Anyhow, he's fictional. Sean is notorious for treating his fans like crap and being a primadonna. He also is partially responsible for Vic's reputation being in question. Vic is probably one of the nicest guy's you'll ever meet and Sean shit all over him. He also prevented Peter Kelamis (Ocean dub Goku) from coming back and voicing Goku Black because he's a selfish prick. Need I say more?
