I love how you can hear the undertones of Piccolo in Sabat's regular speaking voice

Chris's normal voice sounds like a really relaxed, somewhat high Yamcha.

Sean got his wish in Goku Black, and you can definitely tell he was stoked to do it. He freaking killed it.

Filler episodes in Z were the episodes that made you feel like you were a part of their family, though. Those are the episodes that showcase the fact that you're growing up with the characters. The episodes that shows their normal, daily lives are my favorite episodes because those are the ones that make you feel like these characters are your friends. I'm 34 now, been a fan since I was 11. I've literally grown up with these characters and I will defend the filler episodes until my dying breath. That's where the real heart of the show is at.

I'm surprised that nobody asked the inevitable question "Do you do those voices at home?" or "Do you do those voices when you're out and about?" Like at the Drive in through McDonalds. "Hey this is Goku! Can I get...Four large fries, five 8 piece mcChickens and 12 double cheeseburgers?!"

I could not imagine Goku and Vegeta without these guys as their voices. They're just awesome. I always look forward to when the dub is released.

You two gentlemen... Mr. Schemmel and Mr. Sabat, I would like to personally extend my gratitude to you for being those characters for all of these years. This show was such an integral part of my childhood, where I have fond memories of coming home after school for YEARS and watching two episodes each day on Toonami. I still play the games and still watch clips of this show every day. Thank you guys for being a part of some of the best moments of my childhood. You guys have earned incredible respect from all of us fans of this amazing show.

Meeting Chris Sabat on Steve Blum’s live V/O class was awesome, Chris also runs Okratron 5000 which is the sound company that worked on Borderlands 2 (this I didn’t know until the class lol), he’s a really down to earth guy

Loved the series when I was a teenager. As I got older I went off the dub. But listening to it again I start to hear how much fun they had at times, as well as the fun the series was all about. It was never meant to be taken seriously. Even so, Vegeta's character, beyond his pomposity, kind of taps in to a feeling of frustration I now have as an adult where I see people who have so much talent that it seems like it surpasses anything my hard work could achieve. Seeing that from the other side is hilarious. Thanks for your work!

The driving test episode isn't in Kai??? That's a shame, because as far as downtime episodes go, that one is fantastic and to this day, even though I haven't watched DBZ in almost 20 years, it still stands out in my memory so vividly. I just love it when Piccolo is driving like a grandma with his teacher politely nagging him the whole time, then Goku tears by at 5 billion miles per hour shouting "Eat my dust, Piccolo!" "IS THAT A CHALLENGE!?!?!?"

Someone needs to make a brief flash animation of Goku and Vegeta in a hotel with that "What floor are you on" bit.

I met Sean today. Be told me by in his goku voice and it was amazing.

I'm so happy these guys are as dedicated as they are. These 2 guys are largely responsible for my childhood growing up.

At 13:07 well, they'll both have their wishes come true. Sean will be able to voice "Black Goku", an evil version of Goku. (Spoilers : It's actually Zamasu but still, Sean will have to voice him anyway.) And Chris will see more female Saiyans in the Universes' Tournament, with a female legendary super saiyan. (AKA Female Brolly)
