I am a psychiatrist and have children who are university graduates. All were schooled through the regular school system. After 27 years of experience with the regular school system and also my professional experience, I can say this hand on heart that SAHIL ADEEM IS 💯 PERCENT RIGHT. anxiety, depression, substance abuse, gender dysphoria etc all stem from childhood trauma …. Most of which is from school. My advice to my children would be to give their children a happy, stable family life and to homeschool them.
Kids get these things moslty from their home toxic environment school & friends are the only escape plan for them where they find peace. Parenting, nourishing/nurturing & kids personality matter most
I'm an educator and can NOT imagine going back into schools. It was so sad because I love teaching...and loved being a part of a child's growth. When my son was 2 years old I made him to do alot of math English worksheets puzzle cards for developing his i.q after teaching him basic aslo.i taught him things like play game solving problems....but now in school everything has destroyed...

Raising 4 kids and Alhamdolilah they pray 5 times a day leaening arabic and deen and also studying good in school college and university. Doesnt matter where your child go my personal experience is give them good tarbiat teach them the good and bad what to accept and what not to accept. Every child has different skills . We shouldn’t make general level people life difficult who send children school. Any child can be successful doesn’t matter if he is homeschooling or going school. Living in UK i think he s making lower and middle class families life difficult.

Homeschooling along with normal schooling shoukd be done.. otherwise it would be too tough for a person plus regular timing and time table is never maintained in home . Several questions arent clarified in the talk.

Yes one can easily appear in O A levels and Fsc, matric privately or thru a school before exams. You can save up all the exorbitant fees of schooling, and invest in university studies. Homeschooling is more of a conscious parenting, it teaches and makes everyone a better person, its not school at home, it's the right way to learn with good moral and intelligent brought up.

I'm not sure about the school times in Pak but in the UK the total hours a child is learning at school is 3.5 hours...so if you spend 3 hours throughout the day it would be enough

I plan to homeschool too. I have been teaching for 14 years. You can do several activities with your kids. I am thinking to teach her boxing, painting, cycling, hiking , swimming and what not other then academics. And insha Allah my focus is to teach academics through Quran

I am basically a teacher and spend my half life in Dubai. Now back to Pakistan I am totally against this system. I have got an online job and I start teaching them online. Those young kids are studying everything from me bcz I have my own syllabus and there are toppers. There parents are smart bcz they hire expert teachers. They also read Quran online. I also find those kids much better than others though they go to school in New York, but there parents are focused in home schooling. I do same with my kids. Hire expert for your kids who know there subjects.
