I would at least consider the idea that ANY drummer smokes Matt Garstka, absurdly hyperbolic and at least misinformed. While you could say Eric Moore is a better pocket drummer or that he is "tighter" than Matt (though I can definitely give you examples against that theory) Matt is without a doubt more versatile. I can give you 5 genres or styles Matt does as well as anybody. Eric Moore, to what I've ever seen, sticks to what he's good at. I'll show you 2 genres from Matt for every 1 you show me of Eric Moore. Maybe even 3 To add to this, Matt just blasted over get yo freak on. Show me ANYONE ANYWHERE doing the same thing to any animal's track.. I'll wait. Or a Victoria track.. You put that kind of timing in front of any drummer, they're sweating their ass off, idgaf who it is. But we all have our opinions.
