This fun little film stars Clara Bow and Buddy Rogers who's parents pre-ordain their marriage as children. As they get older and meet again years later they learn it might be such a bad thing after all. Quite enjoyable
This film fell into the public domain in 1955 from lack of copyright renewal.
NOTE: Due to constant copyright issues and people making false claims on public domain music I removed the soundtrack. Play your favorite classical piece as you watch and enjoy.

It's true, a picture is worth a thousand words. Clara was very expressive, and the greatest actress of her era. Thank you for sharing this treasure.

Now 59 (well, chronologically speaking), I fell in love with silent movies after seeing Buster Keaton in "Cops" on the "Silents Please" TV show. It pleases me to see quite a few younger folks in the audience at the San Francisco Silent Film Festival. And Clara Bow was great, giving her roles everything she had, right up to her last appearance in Hoop-la (1933).

Really enjoyed this, would love to read the original script. Clara Bow communicated more "silently" than most of us can with words

Very cute film, I love the silents, and Clara and Buddy Rogers (later married to Mary Pickford) make an adorable couple. Thanks for posting.

Thank you for this post ..Clara certainly was a beautiful and very talented actress. She did more with a look, and a raised eyebrow , than many words could say !

Is it weird that I'm seventeen and am in love with this sort of entertainment?

Yael Feder Its good when younger generations ditch today's artificial garbage for some classic quality entertainment. I'm 21.

An excellent find. Miss Arzner's silent work has been very difficult to see until recently so one is grateful to have a chance to enjoy this, especially in a decent copy...

At 14:50 the old man in the museum -- that is Tom Ricketts. He directed the very first film in Hollywood and directed over 300 titles in the silent era. Also renown as a Shakespeare actor. And is a total hoot in Another Thin Man, where he plays an elderly butler.

Thanks so much for posting! I love it and Clara Bow. I am reading her biography - what a life. Some people don't know that when the theaters showed these silent films they had their own orchestra to play the music to go with the movie. How cool is that?

Remind me to bring a little music next time. Bow and Rogers would team again in 1927, this time on original Best Picture "Wings". Too bad the nitrite print had decayed so much, but not unusual.
