Ikr...unless they have lots of parties or ask for their friends old wine corks...it would take years drinking wine at a reasonable amount to get that many....not to mention the soda bottle caps.
All of the "preserving and pickling" (4:55 & 5:33) aren't trustworthy, u need to get the air out and do not use a metal mason jar lid. They can become rusty.
When I was younger I did dancing and had to have hairspray and when I had none left I stomped on the can then sprayed because I liked the noise nothing came out so the hack is fake

In our country we collect them to change them in money to help disabled people, but one ton costs about 2-3 Kč (20 Kč=1 dollar), so this can be a new way to use them 😂

I will never drink enough soda in my lifetime to collect enough lids to make that hamper. On the other hand, I have always cut my tubes of moisturizer and cleansers open to get at what is left inside. It's ridiculous how much is still in there most of the time...not one or two more uses, but enough to last another few weeks!!
The mold you can actually see doesn't become visible until after the mold is throughout the entire piece and comes to the surface to fruit. DO NOT EAT ANYTHING WITH MOLD ON IT ANYWHERE. Cutting it off does NOT make it safe.
The bay leaves do help with insects, but if you put it in a rubber-lidded jug rather than keeping it in the bag anyway, that alone should keep insects out giving you remember to close it!

I don't know exactly how well salt will preserve in an aqueous/watery solution with cheese... But back then people used to salt meats in order to preserve them longer. It does indeed ward off most bacteria for a longer time. It eventually will mold for bacteria who like salty conditions but it takes longer than most common bacteria Aqueous solution of salt in water just sounds bleh and well fake. XD
