First of all thank you for uploading this, I remember seeing that episode back in October 2015, i still have the copy of that on my hard drive somewhere, the show looks a bit different in the early days especially the funfair ones, but I am very grateful for the host, Dave Benson Phillips, the crew, the audience and the contestants who came on to this program, they where terrific happy 30th anniversary Get Your Own Back, and thank you Brian Marshall for creating and adapting one of the best and the most memorable TV game shows of Great Britain in the 1990s, Happy Blessings
I think changing the format from 3 teams to 2 teams worked out much better And I felt Series 5 onward had the better format of having the children score points & the adults try to stop them

Wow that's gone quick 30 years ago this brilliant show started , the first time I saw this show was around 1998 gutted that I missed out on the early series especially series 2 - series 5 seeing clips on here they seemed to be best ones in my opinion , like the Scorpio full episode was on here a few years back hoping that will return back on here , fingers crossed they're are some more gems out there.
Water and conditioner. And he wouldmn't have gone in. Though she won a games console, would she have got that if he had answered 5 questions? This was back in the early 90s when households usually only had a TV in the family room... If I was a dad in the 90s I'd have totally taken the plunge, then played Axex Kidd while she was at school. It was built into the console.
In the original format of the adults scoring and lowest score advancing, the kid automatically won the grand prize (in season 1 it was the game console) just for making it to the Gunk Dunk, they just didn’t get the 🏆 if the adult answered 5 questions (with the adult getting the 🏆 ). The adult still gets gunk dunked when they do get 5 correct answers cause “all children must be accompanied by a grownup”.
I think also in Series 14 one of the adults slipped on some gunge during a game & ended up injuring their ankle And I think as a result of that for Health & Safety Reasons they didn't allow it to return WHICH IS A REAL SHAME TO BE HONEST
@@davidfearis7335 i'm supered there where no accidents in the early series some of the challenges where quite not well fought through sometimes, also the old series as sometiem to many flashignlights in parts makign it hard on the eyes
