My name is Onyinye. My name sake,.today is my first time watching your video and it is packed with information. I have subcribe already. Keep the good work going. Please, I have my NCE CERTIFICATE AND TRANSCRIPT. I ALSO HAVE MY TRCN CERTIFICATE AND LICENSE, I HAVE MY TC II Certificate under NTI I don't have the transcript. If I am to do credentials evaluation under WES, what will be the documents that I will provide. Please, do give me the details of all the documents both from my credentials and the ones that are not my credentials that I need to provide for my credentials evaluation to be successful. Moreso, willl there be different payments for every transcript or document I provide or is the payment constant irrespective of the number of documents that I sent? I asked asking because the course of evaluating credentials is exorbitant. How I wish it is completely free.

I am glad the video was helpful. Most states require a Bachelors degree. So a bachelors and PGDE from NTI is ok. The contact for NTI transcript request is Mr Bashir 0803 370 6107. Alternatively you may go to their office in Kaduna. Credentials should be sent directly for credential evaluation by the school. The money paid is to evaluate both credentials. You’ll specify how many credentials been evaluated while filling out the form.

How long does it take for the license to be ready and issued. I would be pleased if you can make a detailed video of the interview questions and answers for acquiring license as well as getting a teaching job in the UK.

Did you evaluate NTI Certificate or NTI transcript? I have done my TC 11 under NTI and I have my my certificate, but I don't have transcript. That is why I want to know which of them you evaluated. Thanks

The amount will vary by individual. First, it depends on how much it will cost to order your transcript from your school(s). Then second, it depends on which of the credential evaluation body you are using and the last the application fee for the license. Good thing is that all the processes are not done at once so you can plan accordingly.

Usually they keep the document in their data base for about 5 years or so. If you need them to send to a different institution, you pay less. Once the time elapses, you pay the full amount.

What of someone that is already in the state....how long can it take to get Teaching license?

It all depends on how long it takes for your credentials to get to them. And how fast you are able to get any other supporting credentials they may require from you. Once you are all clear, you get the license.

Hello Onyinye, I applied for a license in Illinois, I have BSC in computer science, and Professional Diploma in Education, but I got a deficient email from PEL, saying this *An evaluation cannot be completed at this time. The foreign credential evaluation report on file from WES does not reflect a teacher education program was completed.* WES has already evaluated saying my PDE is an equivalent to US graduate degree, so I don’t know what to do.

@@macaulayagnes7287 Did you complete a post graduate diploma in education? Email dwilliams@roe39.org thats the direct contact person for Illinois. Let them know that you completed a PGDE which is your teacher prep programme. Some states accept from only specific schools.

Your degree shows you were taught in English.
