Building a Unibody Jig for a Chrysler E-body
Mic's Motorworx: Season 2 - Episode 10
Mike tackles building a unibody restoration jig for Project Fast Fish, his 1973 Plymouth Barracuda.
In order to perform the repairs needed for our e-body, a jig is being constructed to help prevent flex during the build. A jig helps to ensure everything stays in alignment.
Keep in mind, the needs for your project may vary with ours.

Materials:
2” square tube with 1/8” wall
1” square tube with 1/8” wall
¼’ x 2” plate
Leveling feet:
Level-it NSW-2N
1/2-13, 1-7/8”
Casters:
4” x 2” Swivel polyurethane caster w/ brake
900 lb load rating
Pins
1" round bar
Nuts for leveling feet

Just curious, I know this is sort of an older video, but wouldn't this be pretty adaptable to an A-body application? I've got a Dart that needs a front clip swap and really don't think I want to attempt it without a jig.

Great question. From what i understand, E-Bodies are derived from A-bodies. This could be adapted with slight mods.

What did you use for stabilizer feet? Where did you buy them? Thanks

Great question. The part is in the description. Picked it up from eBay. I would definitely change the design and placement. After PFF is done, I'll be moving the brackets and feet off to the side so I can have better access to the feet assembly.

@@MicsMotorworx I'm picking up my steel tomorrow and pretty much copying what you did for a E-body chassis jig. Love the work and the informative video.
