ITS BEEN 3 WEEKS AND WE HAVEN'T HEARD FROM YOU ON CHUCKLENUTS. YOU NEED TO STOP SHOOTING UP HEROIN EVERY WAKING MOMENT OF THE DAY AND COME BACK. THE NUTTERS MISS YOU DEARLY. WE CAN CONQUER THIS ADDICTION TOGETHER, WE LOVE YOU.
I used to play on a track pad myself back when I first started playing...Mostly because my laptop's USB port was kinda messed up and wouldn't let me use a mouse for some reason. Luckily that was years ago and I got a new laptop since then.
The fact that he got kicked for "role-playing" when it was a joke and then meanwhile in my servers everyone has e-sex on the mic and no one cares is just a phenomenon
I remember I was in a 2fort server once and everyone was talking about shipping charachters. We eventually decided the best ship was Spy x Scout (not related)
I was Blazehunt3r, in the second Harvest server when everyone went medic! I remember when someone was complaining you weren’t healing and you said “I’m not playing Medic, I’m playing Syringe Man.” It was a huge honor to play with you, I love your content! I practically had a heart attack when I clicked on the video! You weren’t kidding when you said you were stabbing people with Heroin needles LMAO
Honestly it is really weird how the second you play medic everyone belives you must pocket no one questions the trollger, no one questions the engineer who never builds a sentry and yet when medic is on the game everyone expects in this shooter to never use their weapons
@@TheRedarm75 while im not justifying anything, it might be that they’re pleasantly surprised by actually seeing a medic in casual, then disappointed by them not healing
If I have a medic on my team that casually solos the entire enemy team with the syringe gun, I'd pocket him, because that is clearly the best player on the server.
That maniacal laughter at 31:17 is when he truly embodied the spirit of medic: using medical equipment to cause the pain and suffering of your enemies.
Spy: -Often relies on catching enemies around corners -Hard punishes tunnel vision -Good at fighting sniper -Second fastest class in the game Syringe medic: -Often relies on catching enemies around corners -Hard punishes tunnel vision -Good at fighting sniper -Second fastest class in the game
Even if syringe gun is terrible weapon to play, i must say that i love concept of this. It seems like medic one day look at his unused(or used) syringes in shelf and said: Oh wunderbar idea!
THIS. This is my new favorite video from you, seriously. The amount of jokes made me laugh so hard, and I love to see it when people use dumb ways to play TF2, and it actually works in their favor. Also, look Gary, there I am, at 4:00
@spinolover124 an easy / common spy play is to disguise as scout for the speed boost and use that to kill the enemy medic ideally. If you've played any tf2 you've definitely had it happen many times in matches. In that fight it's best as medic to switch to melee rather than using primary; so getting that last syringe kill on a spy-scout was just particularly funny to me, since it's seen as an unlikely win for the medic. Hope that made sense
I would’ve suggested equipping the Amputator and occasionally doing group heals every once in a while doing this challenge. While your teammates would still probably hate you, they more than likely wouldn’t hate you enough to kick you because at least you’re doing something to help them.
Right from the very beginning, I knew how much of a chaotic mess this was going to be due to how many people that don't simply hate the syringe gun, but anyone on their team or against their team that uses it.
Funnily enough, the syringe weapons actually excel at dealing with sentries if you can get the right angle on them. Made a few engies rage quit that way cause they kept putting them in spots where I could get the high ground or the low ground on them.
@@Somerandominternetuser3715 lots of maps with cover you can use to spray a rain of needles on choke points, captures, spawn gates, etc. Would a demo GL be more effective? yes, however, _ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding_
Thr syringe gun is actually really good at killing once you get used to tracking targets, I got used to it naturally from using the nailgun a lot in tf2c, tfc, and quake.
You can kill heavies around corners effectively with the syringe guns because you don’t need direct sight lines. It always really fun destroying people who underestimate the syringe gun.
The Syringe Gun is a good self defence weapon especially when enemies are chasing you but when you have insane burst of heals with the crossbow, minimal damage penalty with the overdose and blutsauger health on hit negating the hole downside of it since if your health is low there is probably an enemy nearby, it makes it not worth using most of the time compared to its other options witch is sad since its really fun to use. Also unrelated but balance mod fricking sucks at balancing and we dont need a stronger version of medic and his syringe gun then the one we have now. Take it from someone who used the syringe gun before famous youtuber The What made his syringe video.
You’re wrong. The syringe guns absolutely need to be better. Balance mod doesn’t have enough theme to their changes. That’s why they’re all over the place. If we all wanna agree that medics primary’s need to suck, nerf the crossbow. Otherwise the disparity between their effectiveness makes his syringe guns too bad to bother with.
@@Small_child_punter syringe guns (especially stock) teach you the most important part to medic: don’t use the syringe gun. Crossbow, however, is absolutely sick and no one wants it changed. If you do, you haven’t played enough medic. So yeah, this is the way it must be.
its weird how people get so mad about battle medics on their team but when there is a useless heavy litteraly helping the other team or any other meme subclass people are like "haha hes doing the funny dont kick him"
@@michaell33t14 now imagine those people like the ones you responded to make up lies to be liked for doing that crap, yet in casual mode... lmao... (unfortunately we dont have to...)
crit syringe gun is the most fearsome thing ever. because you know they've at least gotten somewhat good with the syringe gun if they delt enough damage in order for random crits to even happen
8:46 Oh my God. That actually takes me back. So for those who don't kno, Zoidberg656 had a somewhat popular Slenderman game on Roblox back in the day. And we're talking about almost, if not more than a decade ago by this point. Little me, who had never even dreamed about TF2 at the time, used to play that map religiously, and sometimes, even being a grown-ass man, i still go back to my roots sometimes, for the good old times. Seeing that name made me smile, and it only makes this video more special for me.
"The Syringe Gun has nobody that cares for it." The ArraySeven legion is closing into your location as you are reading this. Surrender and you will not be harmed.
Bro. I didn't know about you until the hide and seek videos on great blue's channel. But I absolutely adore your sense of humor, editing style, and how approach the game. I'm subbing to you before I sub to any of the other chucklefucks, you are the first that has earned my sub and you've done it in one video. I adore this and look forward to consuming your entire backlog in a meek and sad parasocial relationship that every viewer has with the channels they watch. A small light of genuine connection voraciously consumed then forgotten about when the next thing of novelty comes around. Real talk tho, mask off, I'm inspired by your way of doing videos.
I was surprised to be able to recognize the intro music. It always makes me happy to realize someone who has a really large fanbase have obscure music in their videos.
Finally! Someone is embracing the strength of the Syringe Gun! I haven't watched the video yet, I was just so surprised and excited I needed to comment
You should do a video with the blutsauger to see how it compares now that you have experience with the stock medic gun. You might even be more terrifying.
I like how everyone cries that the medic isn’t healing, meanwhile 90% of the time without him there’d be no medic regardless because none of the people crying want to switch to medic.
I would say that people kicking you for playing Medic with only the syringe gun is harder to deal with than actually playing the syringe gun, but like with Elxmaxo I'm sure if you just told people your plan they would have been more forgiving. Edit: Nevermind it happened anyway lol
although i am sorry for your suffering, this video was hilarious, your best work yet imo. i really appreciated the faster paced writing and just how much you leaned into the absurdity of the topic. funny funny stuff, Mr. what. keep it up!
I could see markiplier obsessing over medic because he wanted to help people being a noob at first, then obsessing over the syringe gun because he's a masochist.
The Syringe Gun is the default primary weapon for the Medic. It is a custom-built gun that uses air pressure to fire syringes from a transparent cylindrical case. The weapon fires syringes at a rate of ten per second, with a velocity of 990 Hammer units. The syringes are subject to gravity as they travel, making it necessary to lead moving targets and aim upward to compensate for distance. The Syringe Gun is reasonably accurate when the trajectory is taken into account, but the extremely slow speed of the projectiles makes it ineffective outside of close range. Unlike most other projectiles, syringes cannot be reflected
Yeah the overdose is definitely better than the syringe for combat, that speed bonus lets you live in so many situations where you wouldn't normally. I think I can only remember exactly one time where the tiny damage penalty actually made a difference.
I used it with my Quick Fix loadout because I've been playing Quake recently and fell in love with weapons like The Original and Grenade Launcher, and FishStickOnAStick's rebalance server makes the Syringe guns extremely fun to use, so I have the blind hope that maybe someday if valve rebalances weapons they may do that to the Syringe guns (if they made Medic able to have the speed of his current patient maybe that wouldn't be so far fetch in a world where they did their job).
Nobody in Valve (Except the janitor, of course) wants to play OCD Chef with the Source Spaghetti codes, because they want to be part of the newest, hippest, fanciest-pantsed project.
The way this is edited feels like a combination of the "comically large weapon" series and your weapon analysis videos, so really you get the best of both worlds. And at half the length of the pomson video! TheWhat should try getting 100 kills with the syringe gun in TF2 Classic, the sourcemod I mean, it probably wouldn't be all that different...It would probably also give you good training to use the TF2C Nailgun Edit: ok just thought of a difference: The funny civilian can give your syringe gun mini crits, and pyro is also probably harder to deal with, whereas spy is easier. also no vaccinator The TF2C Nailgun is like the syringe gun in a few ways, but because scout has a pistol I reccomended having that equipped first just to fire on reaction to your enemy (or see where they will move) and after a few shots THEN switch to the nailgun and start tracking them to deal big damage.
I love the fact that you have to throw in a disclaimer for even mentioning zesty in a joke because he'll absolutely explode if someone even remotely makes fun of him
