My name is Dalton. This is my life and channel, 3DMachines. I recently bought a Yamaha YXZ 1000R. So yes the mods are coming. Also have a Duramax, to fill the diesel slot. I have a warehouse where some of the work happens. I plan on traveling the country and meeting my fans. You may see me at a supercross, gncc,or motocross even / race, come say hi. It might be free but add up all the labor it will take to get it the way you want.Those are meant to be setup on a campsite and left there until they rot away. A used toy hauler is the way to go.

What matter is if the gained experience and fun of doing it out weighs price of fuel, labor and parts. It's his hobby and lifestyle. Hobbies if you love them are not cheap and really never pay off but the fun of doing it makes it worth it

Big mistake Dalton. It’s a park model, not designed to be pulled long distance. And it’s old a heavy. Your better off buying a used toy hauler designed for what you want to do. That trailer should of been junked 10 years ago.

They are called tilt outs! its got a 2-5/16" ball! Think you are biting off more than you know ,just a thought! Hope it went ok for you? park model probably has no lights, The brakes are most likely non-existent?

unfortunately I'm with the majority here. being a trailer owner, I can tell you that hitch/ball set up is not gonna work. and this trailer is gonna be so freakin heavy after you load it is gonna be scary on the highway (see youtube for RV sway/tail wag) just quit while you can and get a toy hauler. its not worth your time or money. you've got to be able to find a better option , probably not free but not a money pit like this. watch auctions/bank repos...hate to waste your time bud

Yikes that is a park model and they are not made to be pulled long distances usually just to the campground where it stays till it’s junk you should just get a camper with the toy hauler in it where you pull your toys into the actual living space just a pull behind one you can lease them cheap

Agreed. Hopefully he reads this. Your oem hitch is rated at 6500pds. Change it, change those winter tires to a tow tire. Don’t even attempt without a wd hitch. 35’ on a single wheel is scary for the person driving next to him. Can only imagine on wind. 27’+ requires 3 axles on bumper pull.

Man some of you guys are continually and just unbelievably negative towards Dalton. He got the trailer for free. If it works out that he can reno it how he wants then hey, great. If not then so be it. At least he tried. I highly doubt if the trailer wasn't free he would've picked one already a little more inclined to suit his needs.I actually feel really bad reading the comments sometimes.

Lay a few planks on the ground infront of the tires on the porch side so as you pull the camper forward it tilts away from the porch structure to avoid damage

That is a huge trailer to pull down the highway. There is a reason it is called a park model. They are usually very light weight wood framed on a metal trailer chassis. You are most likely going to need torsion bars to move that beast. Tires last about 5 years, so check those dates. Why not get a smaller enclosed trailer or toy hauler. Huge safety consideration for trying to modify something like this.

Usally dont comment on your vids but i would suggest getting the right travel trailer load distribution hitch before you tow that thing cross country. Your current setup will be ok for a short haul but you will notice a BIG diffrence in the way it pulls once you have the right hitch. Keep up the great content and brapp on.

i used to work with a guy wrecking those trailers for scrap metal we usually demo them from the inside out , not only to stay out of the wind and rain but allso to get the metals on the top of the junkpile of foam hardboard and wood actually quite a bit of money to be made with these things , does take some elbow grease and if they put bitumen roofing on there you better leave it as the cost for skipping the waste will be higher than the worth of the metals ......... that is if the sidings are made from aluminium and not pvc we usually demo-ed them in place as these trailers are VERRY hard to move (hitting the rear of the truck with the corners of the trailer and mowing everything out of the way in the rear when taking a corner , allso the wheel bearings where usually rusted solid and the tires rotted or not mounted _ might want to make a quick and dirty dolly with a trailerhitch so you can at least take corners with it images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/61AJszJBPBL._SL1225_.jpg

Just a word of advice. Id be careful displaying yamahas logo on your jerseys like that. Actually I wouldn't even do it. I know from work experience that companies are VERY sensitive on how their logos are used. Although I could be totally wrong and that's just something that looks like yamahas logo. Oh and don't use that trailer, amongst a laundry list of other things it's just not gonna be safe, even brand new those park models aren't designed for long travel.

You should just buy one of those camper units that goes in the bed of your truck and has The Hangover over the top of your cab with the bed some of them are pretty nice with bathrooms and showers and then you could just pull your nice aluminum trailer behind with crush on it

Newer ones do, they're called Slide outs. That's called a tip out, it's how it goes in. Newer trailers have a switch in the door, there's also usually a secondary switch on the hydraulic pump with a crank just in case.

If you plan on going long distances on a regular basis with the trailer you need to do a fifth wheel not a bumper pull you’ll find there’s a huge difference in towing a fiver over a bumper Look for a cheap fiver or goose neck

Think you just broke the slide outs not sure but its usually a standard slideout which can be controlled by a switch or u can manually do it by turning a bolt underneath to move the slide in and out

Too bad you live so far away or I'd let you borrow my tow hitch that has leveling bars. Your going to find that that trailer is not the lightest thing to be dragging around and the front isn't going to tow through the sky very easy. I used to tow those with my f350 single rear wheel from the factory in Indiana and let me tell you that I knew it was back there and I had crap fuel milage. These are better left in trailer parks because they aren't called park models for nothing. If I were you I would think about getting something sloped nosed but I get it that this one was "free".
