Useful tips for those who are interested in working here. Its also amazing that you landed your job in such a short time. Side note, I was asked questions about my personality etc. I believe interview forms vary depending on the sector & the position.☺️
For those not in the know: The thing about the field you are applying for and the foreign name is that if one applies for menial task firms and fields the name matters more than in a specialized field like biomedicine that expects that not every janitor tries to pose as a qualified scientist.
Sefull tips indeed. Thank you so much. I really want to move to Finland and Im busy doing research. Thank you so much. I can't wait for other videos from you. New subscriber 😍😍😍😍

Thank you for the great tips! Have you ever met some international people who haven't gotten a job for a long time (for example, 3 months) after coming to Finland?
Everything looks right in this video. The CV template is fairly standard for any European country, except it is not usual to include a photo of yourself. By law in European countries, employers must not discriminate on the grounds of gender, religion, ethnicity, age, sexuality, etc., so the CV should reveal as little as possible about these things. All that matters is things like qualifications, skills, and experience. Including keywords is a very good idea. Finally, when you have a good network and some experience, then you will find that people offer jobs without even having to apply for them, or you can simply get a job by asking for one within you network, so no application, CV, or interview is then needed!

i hope to be in the last category with a good network and experience one day in near future! 🤞🏼
Is it required to learn Finnish fluently, or the basics. I’ve started learning Finnish but I’m not really fluent. I’m not from the EU- I’m planning to apply for jobs in Helsinki. Pls help out
Depends on what kind of job you're looking for but in general basics can get you in a good start. For specialist jobs you tend to need somewhat fluent Finnish. Knowing terminology that you use in your field is a big plus. In Helsinki and other major cities you can find some blue collar jobs with basic English and white collar jobs with fluent English.
Do you see Burmese people in Finland? I'm Burmese as well and I'm hoping to get tf out of this country and attend high school in Finland. I'm sure I'll need a part-time job so my parents wouldn't have to cover everything for me. Do you think it's easy to get a part time job?
3 года назад
There aren’t that many Burmese people in Myanmar. I’ve heard about those high school program by Finest Myanmar. I think it’s a good initiative and happy to know both parents and students are interested. I’ve never taken part-time job here in Finland so I’m not sure how easy or difficult it is to get one. But I’m sure you can get some help and guidance from Burmese community here when you started your study journey. Good luck and you can be in touch with me via Instagram. 💕
I suggest you first study what languages are used in teaching in Finnish high schools and the required qualifications. There are different teaching roles, so there are also different requirements for those roles.

3 года назад
Yes I am working and studying at the same time. You can check out studyinfo.fi universities Aalto & Hankan would be my choice first choice if I were just finished high school. Now I’m doing my masters studies in one of the university of applied sciences (like polytechnic). Note that students that are outside of EU has to pay tuition fee but there are also scholarships available. Good luck 😉
Hi @Ihana Pon, Any online job search link to recommend and what is your budget of renting a room to apartment in Finland. Because I am thinking of moving there for worked.

Oikotie website has both job posts and rental apartments. If you’re going to live in Helsinki-Espoo-Vantaa area, €500-€1000 per month would give you a nice small rental apartment! www.oikotie.fi

@@billytan7871 yes you can use DBS card to withdraw. I have done it in my earlier days. You can also use DBS paywave to make payment at counters. Just take note on the currency fees.
By the way was this in company after you accepted or they want you to do in someother clinic individually and hand them prior you acceptence? Im asking because these must be illegal to ask in europe unless your job have some risk to transmit your disease to others.

@@leazidansek4298 hi it wasn’t a big deal for me so I actually don’t remember in detail :)
Can I DM you in instagram or send a message in your email for some questions ? I wanna know more from your explanation about working in finland And how about if I come to Finland only because of job. So I apply job first from my country and if granted I get sponsor visa. Hmm, is it right?
Hey love your videos!! I suppose you were in Finland when u applied to the Finland jobs? Were you on any short term visa that allows you to find the job there?:)

Yes, I was on one year visa while looking for job :)
Loved this! All You have to know is english language, if you can't speak finnish ;) Pretty much everybody speaks english in Finland, so you're quite good with that.
Hello , what is the future for mechanical engineers in Finland? Is there shortage for mechanical engineers? Does it require to know Finnish language for getting job in this sector? I a prospective student of Arcada university of applied science to pursue bachelor in mechanical engineering
4 года назад
Hi, thanks for the question. I’m not familiar with that sector and not sure how’s the demand there. You can already look at the mechanical engineering related companies and start finding out the available positions, potential companies that might interest you to see if there’s any job prospects there. Good luck with your studies though 😊
There's currently shortage of both at least according to the media. I would just recommend browsing any 3rd party job listing sites like duunitori or something similar
