So happy you've been certified and have a job. Just a word of caution. I see you treating yourself to 'stuff' that costs money (it may not seem like much each month, but it adds up). As someone who also has glaucoma, and is quite a bit farther down life's road than you are, I've learned that keeping a focus on saving for future needs (when your family may not be available to help you out) is important. Our family members and friends move, pass away, and otherwise pass out of our lives, making it necessary to rely on paid assistance (bookkeepers to keep track of financial paperwork, for example). Starting off with as few expenditures as possible, and saving as much as possible, is critical to ensuring you can continue to support yourself, should your condition worsen. I understand the impulse to indulge, but doing so can have serious repercussions down the road.

Is so overhealming to see all your content about Glaucoma! I'm also one of those young childs who found that glaucoma is a thing for life. I'm the same age as you (26 yo made this year) and i have found that i had glaucoma with 12 yo. I also had a youtube channel (now all the videos are in private) but was more as a scape and never had the courage to share it. Actually I tried for so long to keep as a secret for many reasons and suffered with that. Now I understand that it was wrong and I need to share my experience with other people that I met. It can help someone else! When I discovered glaucoma, first I didn't know very well whats going on and what it would mean in my life. Second, there wasn't any video on youtube about glaucoma, any young child as me sharing about being diagnosed with glaucoma, and not even an older personsharing about glaucoma life. The only information was that it was very rare for childs to have glaucoma... So it is really touching to me to see your sharing videos. So much that I'm also crying. It is for sure helping other kids like us on that time. For sure! Other coincidence (but in my case not so complicated at all) is the religious topic. I'm now an atheist but I was also raised in a Catholic environment. From the first years of glaucoma I started to question myself about my beliefs and for some years I tried to understand what religion meant to me and what/who is god. I still think that what I learned from religion is very important to me but I consider myself an atheist. Also my short story of being diagnosed with glaucoma is that one day (the last day of the year) when i woke up and looked to a light i had a really high pain in the eyes. I went to the pediatric hospital and the pain was getting worst and worst, my mother says that the swollen on my eyes was so big, and i couldn't open them at all and the only thing that could help was a wet cloth. When doctor saw me, she couldn't measure accurately but the eye with lower pressure was at least above 70. Now I put 3 different eye drops every day, twice a day. By the way, my story with eye problems started on birth: doctors didn't see that I was born with congenital cataracts so i started to go blind and had an emergency surgery with 1 year and half. Again, thank you so much for your sharing!
