@@jajoothecoolmanWhat happened was they did lobotomies on those that basically had no hope of integrating with the wider society for one reason or another. After the lobotomy, they would get results that were initially promising, with much “calmer” demeanors. In reality, they didn’t know the exact implications of their actions. Neuro science was nowhere near common sense, and a lot of what we know now about the brain sorta stems from some really bad experiments
