For those who are wondering why the livestream ended abruplty: His OBS crashed, which both made the livestream into an infinite loading screen and completey lose the run time, thus making the run invalid.

2:10:59 I believe the time saved dropping to the bottom of the pole before hitting it is greater than hitting the top, by like 2-3 seconds

You can ground pound on baby bowser 3 cycle while he is big, and you are small. Only takes one hit

Have you tried going under the spinning boxes on Dolphin Kick to save time? Don't have to avoid the other boxes and you'll swim straight for longer.

3:08:08 I thought the character-specific hidden blocks can be hit by anyone, only it'll appear for the character when nearby. Are there blocks that can only be hit by specific characters?

@@Jub__ ah, right. Didn't think of it that way. I guess I thought we could run right through them, even if they were visible. It's only solid if you hit them. I don't recall seeing one that I could move through.
