My babies were both obsessed with their pacis. We took them to Target and let them pick out any toy they wanted BUT they had to pay for it with all their pacis. We bagged them up and handed them to the cashier at checkout (who threw them away). Worked great for both girls!

Love the hair! I think once you hit that 2 week post haircut mark, it's gonna look perfect! Thank you for sharing your last night of Hanukkah with us. I'm a Believer/Christian and this year it was so important for me to celebrate Hanukkah instead. I learned the story of Maccabees and spent 30 minutes in prayer each night as the candles were lit. This is definitely my new tradition🫶🏾. Not to mention the delicious fried foods is just icing on the cake 😊.

My girl is 15mo. and has been getting fussy after a few bites for the last couple months too! 😢 what my husband doscovered is to add more seasoning (for our half-asian household that means adding a dash of soy sauce and sesame oil and sometimes furikake seasoning which usyally do the trick) or add melted cheese into the food. A flavor "explosion" seems to get her to finish her meal 😂 Other things that worked for us were switching to the opposite flavor profile--if she's rejecting something sweet, give her something savory/a little salty or vice versa--or try offering a drink as she might just be extra thirsty! Or simply waiting for a little while in case she actually wasnt fully hungry yet

When I potty trained my girls, I used the potty seat that goes on the actual toilet along with a step stool. It saved me the step of going from a potty seat to the toilet and saved me having an extra thing to clean. Just make sure the potty seat/ring fits securely on the toilet and doesn't shift around. My oldest started at like 2.5 years while my youngest was more like 3.5-4. It helped that their pre school was on board with training and when one of them was successful, they made a big deal over it. My oldest liked that and was full steam ahead! Lol. Younger one was on her own time frame however and it took her a little longer. Good luck on the potty training journey!

Love your videos so much! As for Naomi and the food aversion, I remember my son going through something similar when he turned one, wasnt eating nicely, suddenly hated the bath, etc.... was super random, but only lasted like 2 weeks and then was back to normal. I think its just a phase! And what I was always told is, if theyre hungry theyll eat, and if they aren't they wont no matter how hard we try to force it. You guys are such great parents! When feeding Naomi maybe just let her try to feed herself once she starts pushing away. BLW doesn't always have to be a whole chicken leg it's about independency and getting messy. Just feeling the texture out, find what's comfortable for you. Also, throughout the video this hair style definitely fits you!! I LOVE!! 😍

My daughter also loved her paci for sleeping. We started introducing a stuffy for her to sleep with in place of her paci for comfort. My original idea was to take her to build-a-bear and put her pacis inside the bear and get to sleep with them every night. But we ended up just explaining to her that she was a big girl and she threw them in the garbage herself 🥰

1- 2 of my kids used pacis. Once we were down to bedtime use, we just “lost” it one time during nap… it was hard but just it being lost is what we did. 2- a toddler potty that we kept in the living room and only kept them in undies. 3- food aversions are normal… I tend to let them feed themselves as opposed to me sitting there with them. Just let her eat when she wants, even it’s a bit and at odd times. It’s just temporary.

Advice from my experience with my son.... we told our son his pacifier was broken. We cut some in half and showed it to him.... let him touch it. We removed all from our house, and eventually he kinda understood no more bibis. We also did our best to avoid pacifier section at stores for awhile. My partner wanted to put Chilli, but I thought that was too much for my son. In regards to potty training, we had a training potty but it didn't work. Since ours is a boy, we let him go with papa to see how he goes potty. You can put a training potty with you and Aleah (sorry if spelling is wrong) so she can sit and watch you. Our son was a little late but eventually he was curious and wanted to go potty like daddy, so maybe wait and she will wanna be a 'big girl like mommy'.

For the feeding issue: my second was like this and it was impossible to feed him. The only thing that helped was letting him feed himself (very messy and unproductive at first, but now he’s 1,5 yo and eats perfectly). Also I love the hair! ❤

Potty Training - I used the book Oh Crap, Potty Training! for my daughter. The first couple days are A LOT with that method, but they catch on really fast. I didn’t follow the book 100%. We kept using pull ups at night for awhile. And used a sticker chart for days with no accidents when she had a backsliding period. But she’s 3 1/2 and rarely has accidents now. We used the little potty at first but it became a crutch and she wouldn’t go on regular toilets. So we switched to toilet seat from Home Depot that has a little insert you pull down for them. Best decision ever! Good luck! Potty training has been one of the most exhausting (and messy) parts of parenting so far- but you’ll be so grateful when it’s over 😉 Oh, also- public toilets are scary when you’re little. So if Aleah wont use them, don’t let that discourage you- it’s SUPER normal. You got this, mama!

HAIRSPRAY!! For the pacifier I would try doing this thing were you bury all of the binkies and then in the morning she wakes up to a couple toys. The pacifier fairy

For potty training , use PECS visuals they can work wonders with little ones. or use a little potty and doll. As for pacifier if its just night time it could be she's using it to soothe, maybe replace with a chewy. They come in variety of textures. You can introduce it as a bedtime alternative but give her a place she can put it away before she lays down so she still gets that control but she isn't relying on it. If not its totally okay, my eldest used his binky till he was 4.5 every kid is different.

I don’t know if you already had this idea, but you could have your girls draw a picture (until they’re ready to write their own letters) and then see the difference the next year. You could also do an interview with them and review their old favorites/habits/characteristics during this time.

Love the hair!! You actually have the perfect texture hair for that style!🤩 I also love seeing your Hanukkah traditions! I was raised catholic, so I am ignorant to your traditions, I love the letters! I saw on Instagram once a family did like a pacifier fairy and had the kid put all their pacifiers in a basket and put it on the front porch, after they wake up from their nap, they open the front door and the pacifier fairy has taken the pacifiers and left a basket of toys or whatever you choose. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I thought it was cute, but I’m not a momma so I’m not sure how efficient. But could be worth a try!

Warm your bangs up by going over them with your straighter and put a Velcro roller in it and let it set

I raised 5 kids and help quite a bit with 12 grandbabies and here’s what we figured out… Step stools with a small potty seat that attaches to the big potty permanently (until she’s big) help give them a sense of independence and control. We started with just sitting on it for a minute a couple of times a day. Some liked books, others running water, etc. The. We put undies on them and let them go. Lots of accidents later (to which we don’t really react) they figure out they don’t like being wet and move along. Pull ups were not any more effective, just less of a mess.

Definitely introduce baby utensils to Naomi! We started using a fork and a spoon from the brand Doddl once our son was about 10 months old, by the the age of 1 he was already an independent eater 😊

Love your hair, the color is great. My friend cut the tips off her daughter pacifiers. She wasn’t happy when she put them in her mouth. And she was crying and she threw them away. But she’s done really well. She too was that only when you sleep pacifier user. Also, as a suggestion, don’t do both take the pacifier away and try potty training. Get over one hurdle then start the next. Thank you for sharing your last night of Hanukkah. What a nice tradition to write the letters.❤❤

Love your hair it looks so good on you, and I know I am not parent but what my parents did for me was wet a washcloth with cool water gave it to me. When I was kid I loved it. It may also sound silly or gross to some people but that’s what my parents did.

You are both doing a great job parenting. Our pediatrician reminded us when our kids were little that children don’t have much control in their lives…except in the areas of eating and going to the bathroom. Don’t make it a battle. These are two areas we saw, our girls especially, fight us for sure. If they aren’t ready to start using the potty…they won’t. My daughter had no interest until we were at a close friend’s house for a play date and she saw the other child go to the potty. My daughter was older than this other child and I think she got competitive and went home saying she could do that too. We then stayed home and did the pant-less method for a weekend. Underwear felt too much like diapers to her. So we wore long tee shirts or dresses and turned up the heat in the house😊. When going out to run errands we had a van potty and then put them in very loose pants with no underwear for a few weeks. Good luck!

Absolutely love the hair and adore your videos, I have been a fan for years ❤ My daughter was the same with her dummy / pacifier - I said the “Dummy fairy” was coming to take them as she’s a big girl now and another little boy or girl needed them. My daughter put her dummies in her room together, and when she woke the dummies had ‘magically’ been swapped out for a book. (Tooth fairy style 😂 ) She asked a few times at night for her dummy, but we would read the book, and talk through how much of a big girl she is now. Seemed to work a treat! Hopefully this helps, good luck ❤️

For Naomi try cutting up tiny pieces of food that she’s able to eat and let her finger feed herself. For Leah hopefully I didn’t get her name wrong. I’m sorry if I did. Stores have little tiny stuffed animal which looks like a washcloth attached to the stuffed animal. Maybe trade in the pacifier for the stuffed animal cloth shape. My grandson really loves this item. I love your new hair! The color really suits you. I think the bangs look better the way you styled them as opposed to the hair stylist. Not as much over your forehead, but more to the sides. 😊♥️ Maybe Naomi isn’t as hungry. I don’t know if it would be worth trying to cut back on the formula around one meal as see if that helps?

Cut the tip of the pacifier and give it her, she will try to use it and then no longer want it. Works every time 👌🏼

Looooove your hair 😍 my daughter gets frustrated at mealtime too 😫 my advice is introduce ways she can be more independent- maybe put a little bit of food at a time in front of her for her to feed herself then try utensils - I noticed my daughter wants to be more like us especially at mealtime - if Naomi is throwing a lot, definitely make sure she is hungry at mealtime - I got that advice and it helped - I realized I was nursing too close to giving solids
