It's always so cool finding a pokemon with a mark! But what if you found a shiny pokemon with a mark? My name is DOM1NaT0r and join me in this 3-part series where I attempt to get ALL MARKS on SHINY POKEMON!
This is a very intense challenge to attempt, but I am determined to see it through! In this episode we get more than HALF of all the marks on shiny pokemon!

I got the Intense mark on both shiny Hariyama and shiny Iron Hands. To me it's the perfect mark for them and am super stoked to have them matching. Also recently found a shiny Frigibax with the rare mark!

My first marked shiny was a shiny Volcarona with the Smiley mark. It’s *very* fitting in my opinion to send it out and have its title be ‘Volcarona the Beaming’ Edit: Actually I forgot, my real first marked shiny was a Great Tusk, I was hunting it and managed to find 3 in one sandwich and one was marked. I forget what mark it was off the top of my head, but I recall it was a generic mark like Uncommon

I've had a strange experience with 2 shiny Pawmi. They both gained the Gourmet mark, a few days pass irl. I happen to check their marks again, and the marks weren't there, but instead the rainy day mark. The gourmet marks were gone, and I don't believe it was raining during the outbreak I caught them in.

Hey! Loved the video. After I got scarlet and was playing through the storyline, I randomly found a shiny Cetoddle. I walked up to it and i was thinking, "doesn't it normally have pink stripes?" and i just about choked on my drink after realizing it was shiny. No mark, but I thought it was cool.

Thing on Dratini they only go under water but they do come back up. If stay there long enough. So even a shiny one will pop back up from being under water still shiny. 😂 This was fun to watch!

One thing that always worries me in scarlet and violet shiny hunting no matter the case Is having a shiny appear thats extremely subtle and not noticing that its there Like a few days ago i was running around area zero figuring out what i wanted to hunt and ran into a shiny floette that i didnt even know existed

Yeah that’s one of the many reasons I’m not a fan of overworld shinies. But a good way to look at it is to not worry about them unless you’re specifically hunting for them. Then when you are hunting for something subtle, look up the shiny first then look closer at each Pokémon!

I have plenty of Marked Shinies with a few Personality Marks to boot, Great finds for you by the way. but my favorite of them was Iron Bundle the Daydreamer. I was exploring Area Zero for fun and then I found him it was late at night so I think I didn't use any sandwiches so I saved and when I found out about his mark I reset to catch him with my only Beast Ball.

I've been trying this hunt out after seeing your video about the extra shinies! So far have about 5 uniquely marked shinies in SV, and I somehow keep getting duplicate personality marks even this early on lol, can definetely see why the grind gets so grueling after trying out for some interesting marked encounters and ending up with a dupe mark, so far my favorite though is my marked Iron Valiant, Rubosa the Fiesty!

The whole Indigo Disk thing that lets you see if the Pokemon has a mark, along with the mark charm, makes this process much easier( I've gotten a few "rare-ish" marks from this)

Yeah it made the personality marks very easy to get for shinies along with rare marks. Plus with the boosted odds outbreaks they do for events, make them not even a challenge anymore (but there’s still the dry mark and curry mark that are gonna be challenging from sword and shield!)

I haven’t found any marked shinies yet, haven’t done the ace academy tournament yet and only found two shinies since getting the charm, eight before that. But my favourite shiny was the girafarig I found during the story in area zero. I called him Zero and he is my baby. So wild to find a shiny while arven penny and nemona were chatting around me

Rng can be rough. I’m assuming the odds of a personality mark with title power 3 are 1/25 and I didn’t show it in the video, but it took me about 75 shinies before I got the cufant with the thorny mark 😅

I think shinies that barely change aren’t the worst ones, because when you think about it at least colors are good since the originals are good too and they don’t change to have worse colors So Pokemon like Garchomp’s shiny isn’t good since it’s too subtle but just talking about colors it’s not bad on it’s own also Ampharos is my favorite Pokemon and I’m glad to see you got one

I think some subtle shinies are bad and some very obvious shinies are bad. It depends on what colors they actually use. For example my least favorite shiny is igglybuff because it’s extremely subtly and in gen 2 used to follow the same theme as jigglypuff and wigglytuff. But on the other hand I also dislike the shiny jangmo-o line because those colors look terrible together and don’t work well on that specific Pokémon

I've found four random shinies so far in Gen 9. Two of them had marks (Chansey with Sleepy-Time Mark + Psyduck with Uncommon Mark).

I don’t have any marked shinies, but I am the only mark hunter I know of that doesn’t care much about shinies (I have reset over shinies to not waste my Title Power ingredients). It did start because I found out my vaporeon named ‘Voreon’ just so happened to have the Lunchtime Mark like a week after catching them, so now I primarily use Pokémon with that mark, and if I catch anything for friends I like getting one with a mark as a present.

One thing to note is that because Alpha pokemon are set to max size value when transferred, alpha marked pokemon are also automatically eligible for the jumbo mark.

Yep! I have both the jumbo and alpha mark on my mismagius! But for this challenge, I want to get unique Pokémon for each mark so I don’t count double marks on shinies as 2 marks for the challenge!

I haven’t hunted for marks but I’ve been shiny hunting for a full shiny dex in Pokémon Violet and I believe I have quite a few marks in my hunting history so far. I recently caught an shiny iron moth with the vigor mark and it was super cool! 🎉 wishing you luck in these difficult challenges I feel some of the pain with working on my shiny dex!

In my 1.5 boxes worth of shinies, I only have one with a personality mark, a Thorny marked Kommo-o. Every other marked shiny either just has the uncommon mark or the Lunchtime mark, especially the lunchtime mark.

Yeah lol I really wanted to do that but it just isn’t realistic to hunt hundreds upon hundreds of shinies then keep the video at an hour length. I’m gonna do my best to keep it 3 parts though! Part two will be getting a lot of the second half and part 3 will be the final few stragglers and the extremely difficult marks to get!

dratini and dragonair don't despawn they sink, but you can still encounter them underwater, dratini is just harder to see and shinies can't despawn like a shiny voltorb will just stare at you instead of blowing up. if you know, good :> i love this video i might try to shiny hunt all the marks not xD

I have seen people fail Shiny dratini but not dragonair. However, it might be a little different at casseroya lake instead of this little pond I was at but who knows this game can be very inconsistent lol. It is nice that most shinies can’t despawn themselves! And good luck on yours if you attempt this!

Good luck if you go for it! There’s an area on glaseado mountain that has groups of varoom everywhere if you use a poison type sandwich!

58:20 of course the shiny female litleo is a scholar. Fun fact: when i was around a pokemon center in violet i randomly found a female shiny litleo, (i liked the female more than the male, and the fact i had no sandwich or shiny charm made it so much more special, my first ever shiny too.) Her name is goldy and i love her so much, one thing i havent checked on yet is if she has a mark, or if shes huge or small. So this should be fun.

the marked shinies i have are raichu with the lunchtime mark, gastly with the sleepy-time mark, houndour with the uncommon mark, and mimikyu with the rare mark.

Not sure if they changed the updates but I hatched a shiny Alolan Vulpix and randomly after having her pick up items for a while she does have the item finder mark and is now announced as "the treasure hunter" in battle. 100% legitimate, and I'm super proud because it took me at least 3 whole days of hatching over 1000 eggs to get her with Masuda method 😵

Dang that’s crazy! I heard someone say the base odds was 1/25 so it made sense as to why I got it so fast with title power 3 but yeah I wish we just had a confirmation as rng is very unpredictable. Hopefully you can get your lycanrock marked soon!

Unfortunately I don’t think that will be a thing as only gen 1 & 2 can be sent back and forth from each other. After that, every generation cannot send back to a previous generation. It would be nice if they made an exception this time but I don’t think we’ll be able to send scarlet and violet Pokémon into legends arceus
