Nice video. I recently switched to glued on acrylic nails for broken or split nails. They have worked very well IMO. FWIW, my process (after way too much research 😉) ...Pick the correct size, apply glue to the acrylic nail on the part that will adhere and to the nail itself. Apply nail and hold for 5 seconds. Dries quickly. I use a small nail clipper to carefully remove some length (huge time saver) , then file to shape and smooth. If needed , can remove pretty easily with acetone. Cheers 🎶🎸
Had acrylic nails ...installed... twice. Funny both salons, when I said "I play the guitar" understood immediately. When acrylic nails are installed, first the nail is glued to your nail, second a filler is added to thicken and harden the fake nail. Eliminate the second step. You only want the base acrylic nail attached. With the filler is added the nail is much to thick and hard. You get very little feedback from the string. You only want the nail, no filler. This is the part that will confuse them.
What ever you do please do not try this in your nails. I know a few people who had terrible problems with the onw natural nails after doing fake nails. Please be careful. Good luck with everything!
