gah gosh this was shot sOo beautifully! could have been a professional workout vid when you were working out, and then when you were re-potting it felt like a painting
Would be nice to hear more about you creative process in making new recepies. How do you do it? What things do you consider etc. Lacking in inspiration when it come to food right now... And why is it that it is so easy to resist the things that I KNOW is good for me? If I know it and know how much better it make me feel in the long run why dosen't it come naturlly?
Love this question - have been thinking about incorporating some fashion stuff into upcoming videos. So will def include this. I try as best as I can to support small Australian/NZ labels. Will get into them in detail soon. In this video though, I'm wearing clothes from mostly Sister Studios and Suku Home.
Happy birthday! I am actually older than you are 😉 Do you think the IBS was a consequence of having had an eating disorder? I have IBS as well and also suffered from disordered eating in the past and i always wonder if there might be a connection. I totally relate to not wanted to feel restricted anymore. I did the fodmap diet and felt very much restricted and it gave me even more anxiety towards food. It really helps when i try to stay a little bit relaxed during a meal and pay attention to chewing my food, bc when i am anxious i tend to eat too fast and swallow a lot of air i guess. Love your channel and thanks for sharing your getting back on track routines!
Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed it! I went and saw a gastroenterologist last year and he said that 90 percent of eating disorder sufferers will get IBS at some point. Which is shockingly high! I guess it makes sense though, the stress you put on your body and your digestion. I did the low fodmap diet too and felt the same - so restrictive and quite stressful. I still try to stick to those principles though. Definitely agree, eating more mindfully and chewing your food helps! Such simple practices but they make such a difference. Hope you're doing better with it all! It can be such a tricky thing to navigate.
@@GemmaWalsh Yes, very tricky! It still has an impact on my daily life unfortunately, i have no hunger cues and always feel constipated. Hope it will get better. I will definitely try out your tips as well, eating more simple meals and less ingredients (aka less fibre). I don't think garlic and cooked onion trouble me so much, but i really can't have leek for instance. Would be interesting to see what you do to keep on track with it, although i realize that everybody is different. But it feels kind of supportive and i hope it will get easier for you too!
