Getting BOWLED filming Flying Scotsman! + Wheelspin | Flying Scotsman & Mayflower Engine Movements 

After a few shots of whiskey, my Uncle Dave would regale me with the times after WWII when he and his brother John would get a weekend furlough and begin it with a duffel bag full of wool socks that they would sell to the American soldiers at their hangout in Brighton Beach and then head to London with a pockets full of cash and catch the Flying Scotsman up to Edinburgh where they would wine and dine, dancing with the ladies into wee hours of the morning, then catch it on the return trip where they would book a private car and sleep all the way back. This is my first time seeing it and it was remarkably like he described it. I'll have to look into a trip across the pond and a ride on that beautiful train!!! Thanks for posting this!!!

It’s really nice to have this famous legendary British steam locomotive back in service I think she honestly looks very great in her British Railway livery, which was the livery she wore when she was retired from revenue service
