That callout from dude in the drift car was a huge reach, overshoots the corner himself on the outside gets a tiny bit of contact from driver on the inside and crys like a baby.

That was lag hit there was well over 2 feet between the car on that corner. Unholyspeed had spun out on that corner so yeah that was an unnecessary call out.

Regardless if broughy lag hit him or not, that was a bitch move on unholyspeed's part. Broughy actually saved him from spinning out by tapping him like that, and what does he get as thanks? He gets to wait on his last lap. Unbelievably bad sportsmanship.

While Unholy was lag hit, and thus the callout was most likely valid, (imo) it looks like it was morally wrong considering cars, corner, and specifically how Unholy was in the process of spinning out and Broughy appears to have straightened him out, which incidentally helped him.

Watch on 0.25x you can see that it was a lag hit on Unholy but no contact for broughy. Despite that he was spinning out anyway in a much less controllable vehicle and in a entertainment only race on the last lap so he could've let it slide but it did make contact for Unholy so he did have a right to call it.

He's exploiting the fact that you're on stream and you have to wait or you're gonna have controversy but no one should wait for shit like that. if someone believes a callout is bs, they wait for it, and then afterwards submit video of it to a staff member or moderator. bs calls are punished harshly to curb abuse of the system. if broughy thinks the call is bs he is free to get it looked at and have them make a call on whether it was valid or not, and appropriate action taken

nope, those are the rules of the server to wait for all calls. lag hits count as normal hits. the potential falseness of the call is being looked into though, which is how we go about this

Honestly the only content of yours I kinda slack on watching is the fastest/top speed videos, simply because I've long ago stopped playing GTA. Normal races, random races, it's all entertaining to me. All you can really do is make sure you like the content you're making, since if you're not having fun making it then the whole channel will suffer.

The issue with the callout, at least for me, isn't that it might or might not be complete BS, but that he took his sweet time calling him out. 11 seconds for pressing t and typing "brough"? just as broughy said at 31:12, the issue with the tractor thing was that Btree or whoever was it back than took forever to call him out. I think PH should introduce a rule which sets the maximum time that you can take to call someone out, otherwise this might turn into people calling other people out on the final lap fo stuff that happened on first lap turn 3, if you get where I'm going (exaggerating of course)

if someone gets called out ages after an incident that can be reported as a false callout, the time he took to call him out wasn't that long, he probably was trying to find out the name of who spun him. We don't need a new rule to enforce common sense since what you're suggesting rarely happens

I don't think that backmarkers should make space in random select, because they might have just gotten a bad selection of cars, get lapped and then get the good cars to come back, but since they made space for the people in the lead, their chance to come back gets much slimmer.

that James Snowboi Guys rejoin was litterly perperndicular to the track, Isn't the rule on rejoining to look at whats comming and wait, And to not rejoin as he did, Also he hit you twice on the rejoin, Once to push you off and the other was a continue driving, I get lag can be a factor but that didn't seem like lag... And then he completely divebombed you as a backmarker... Supprised he wasn't kicked

since Broughy didn't tell us in chat, or sinbinned him himself, and seemingly none of the staff saw him causing issues, we weren't able to bin him for it. Yes its a rule to rejoin on the track safety, and rejoining in a dangerous manner is an instant sin-bin, shame the staff didn't see that during the race.

I like this better than radom all/all, but i wasnt the biggest fan of random-(this class of vehicle) i like the unexpected nature of random all, but i want it to be fair, so everyone getting the same car eventually is the best option, sure if you get all good cars for the first half of the race, then you've got an advantage because you've been racing in clean air, where as someone who gets more good cars at the end of the race has to fight for position and waste time, but thats better than someone getting the holy nonuplet in a 10 lap race and someone getting the unholy nonuplet

I think the class-specific ones don't really compare to Random All I think (it's a different kind of racing). But compared to Random All/All, I do like these a lot better. Almost all of the action, but the dozer lap time is suddenly equally important as the supercar lap time, which it just isn't in the All/All races. I still like the All/All races as well, you need to have some kind of racemode where you can laugh at someone getting a tractor, if only because you might not end up getting it yourself.

I drove the Kanjo in the heist, before the snow. First stock, in the setup. Then fully upgraded in the actual heist itself. Yes it seems very fast in a straight line but has horrible torque steer. It is very hard to steer, even just to place on the road, weaving through traffic in a straight line. I look forward to your testing video, hateful machine...

29:13 -> You are responsible for Lag. Yes you might have enough space on your screen, but if you hit him, and you even recogniced yourself, you have to wait. That's the rules of the project Homecoming Server.

ya should do a random select season - A series of 20 random selects that go through every car over the season, and award points throughout. Would work a lot better than a 400+ lap single random all race

Getting the better cars first while you're in the top 3 is good because you don't waste time overtaking anyone. Racing line is all yours.

Is it possible to do this but instead of everyone getting the same car, people get the same classes of cars? Like, of those 15 laps, they get a random super, 2 sports, 3 compact, 1 meme, 1 truck, etc? This way it would still be somewhat ballanced but still maintain a lot of the randomness from Random All.

how does that maintain the randomness of random all when you know the general selection of the cars? seems like a waste of time and not significantly different with what Select does.

It would take away the 'looking at what other people get and expecting to get the same thing', but because classes on Proj. Homecoming are ballanced, getting a different car on the same class shouldn't make much of a difference depending on the track, while keeping it interesting because you're not seeing the same car all the time.

Personally, I prefer proper racing a lot more than these random races. Would really appreciate it if you upload those a bit more. Most of these random races in my eyes were just people driving the track together on the same track rather than racing.

Hi Broughy, I have a question about how the random generator works. Does it random a class and then a vehicle in that class, or does it randomly generate a vehicle from a list of all the vehicles? I’m curious since there always seems to be a Regina, and I’d imagine that if the Regina is dominant in a class then that probably increases the chance of it appearing if it’s the first method, rather than from a list of 700 cars.

It takes a random vehicle from all cars. It's just that there are quite a few reginas on the server.

Random Random! Everyone starts the race not knowing what exact random gamemode it will be. at the end it will be fun to guess "oh I only saw sports cars, must be random sport"

I was gonna ask how to get into these races, then i saw the BS with unholy speed and i now have zero interest. He had almost 300 ping. If you're going to punish lag hits, kick anybody with a ping over 200 or they're gonna have 10 lag hits a race. They could be an entire car width or more to the side of where their car shows (as seen in this video), and it's always gonna seem like someone else's fault.

It's a shame how one incident *out of 29 random more videos and over 30 random all videos* immediately makes you want to kick everyone over 200 ping. We're not gonna punish or discriminate against people just because they live further away, just because of one bad lag hit.

Plenty of discussion about it already, but still mentioning it: Unholy's callout was uncalled for (hehe). Not even because of the 2 arguments being called BS. Already spun out, can't dodge that on snow. "Look at how much their car spun after they were hit". That's expected of a drift car on snow. Another note: not sure who R2Xdj was talking about after the race, but can take a guess: James_Slowboii. That would put him at AT LEAST 4 takeouts: 3 on R2X, 1 on Broughy (almost again later. Would've been a takeout if Broughy had kept his line, which he had the right to do.), and probably more on other people.

I think we could call it "random balanced" and the other random race with all player have same car each lap we could call it "random equal". "Random balanced" is mix of random all and proper race and "random equal" is more like proper race with random all element.
