😂 dude you’re fake subtitles got me for the first handful of your videos I watched. I was like wow this guy sure meets a lot of uncharacteristically bad mouthed Japanese people! You’re hilarious bro, if we ever meet beers on me!! 😂
1:18 "The stereotype about Japan really exist for a reason" I was expecting him to say that this tiny camera would be the perfect spycam in a bathroom 💀
@@jonasw3945 I spent some time un Japan, this is notorious. There are signs in train stations warning women that people take upskirt shots with their phones. There are pervs all around the world but Japan is known for that kind of behavior.
@@jonasw3945 ‘Japan has a problem with hidden cameras, also known as tōsatsuki, that are used to secretly record sexually exploitative images in public spaces’ Nah lol
I watched the first 2 minutes of this video. I immediately had to do acid. I came back an hour later and teleported into Connor’s body and experienced the department store for the next 6 hours. Thank you for the journey.
@@MaynardsSpaceship I always pull up his videos if I have some blow, but nothing good to do. He keeps it interesting and engaging enough that I don't get bored lol
Yodobashi can only work in Japan, such a massive store with countless narrow corners and blind spots, zero security guards, things would get snatched all the time in most other countries and the store be out of business in no time, superior high trust society wins again.
@@benshotyou as soon as I read the word "wench" in the subtitles, I knew it was time for the real fun to begin. and while this episode was funny, it could have been so much better with a better script, editing and spent less time aisle walking making references over and over again about drugs and gay gags in the subtitles which became less and less funny. I'm all for any person doing what they want as long as it doesn't affect others negatively..One or two references would have been hilarious, ten references becomes repetitive and hints at an edit that required more time.
consumerism is an experience in Japan. I would actually get off my ass and go to the store than use Amazon. It's that much fun. Lose a whole day walking in a store like that.
@@ShaiyanHossain Real. Amazon's existence doesn't help, but I'm old enough to remember and work in physical stores pre-Amazon, and they were always miserable ☠️
In places like America, you need a car to go to stores. A lot of people don't have reliable transportation or don't wanna use gas and get stuck in traffic. In Japan, everybody walks. So it's much easier to just go outside and go visit stores/malls. Amazon and online shopping is only negatively affecting the west. In Japan, going out to physically buy stuff or going to the mall to hangout is still very much alive.
@@LeedleLee457 100% correct. Its also why shopping malls are dying out in the US. Most of them were built in places so you HAVE to get there by car. Even busses often times cant go there. Thus its more "convenient" to shop online
"There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of a yodobashi camera binge." - Hunter S. Thompsono
Started your videos yesterday morning and I’m here at your most recent video! I will say it’s very addicting.. I even had my bf watch your videos on our 65” tv like it was a movie 😂 it’s like I’m there with you how authentic it is! Looking forward to your next video keep going 🫡
The truck driver scene is a very familiar thing to me. They love hanging out and getting you shit hammered if you speak enough Japanese to have a conversation. Very lovely people
To think i was wholly and thoroughly entertained by a tour of a department store and a bunch of guys getting drunk.. I've said this before, but you ooze sincerity and kindness, you're like a good vibe magnet.. If you're ever back in Thailand and fancy a beer, give me a shout, you're paying..
So funny you picked up the camera cleaning set. I was watching a video where someone was walking through Japan on a snowy night with no commentary and he was using that exact kit and I had no idea what it was. That's a crazy coincidence.
Conner, This is one of the funniest RU-vid segments I have ever seen with the captions starting at 25:58 - Absolutely Hilarious - shared this with a few of my co-workers 😂
Dude on our last Japan trip, we stumbled upon a Yodobashi by accident and I was effing blown away. We got to the appliance floor and they were doing demonstrations on the vacuum cleaners (actually throwing stuff on the floor and letting people vacuum it up) and even had the washing machines running. I can’t wait to go back later this year and CONSOOM
I talked exactly like you when I visited Japan earlier this year. My friend was like, "Your ADHD is showing so much here! NEW RULE! Stay on one topic for at least 30 seconds and finish it!" There's so much to look at in each store. It's nuts. You either choose to have fun or have an anxiety attack LOL I chose to have fun and absorb as much as I could. Great country to vacation. Can't wait to go back.
Besides the great humor, what I appreciate the most about your videos is that you're down to earth and you don't use a drawling snotty inflection when you speak. Thanks for not being normal.
Dude, absolutely love your content man!! It feels so real and surreal at the same time. It’d be dope to do some travels with you (or a meet up)Don’t worry I’m married. I’m honestly terrible at technology but it’d cool to chat at least. It’s awesome seeing the build up of views!! Much deserved!! Cheers man!!
I fucking love this guy, the best vids are when he drinks with japanese people!!!! Also love how he always translate the text like that, so funny to read 😂❤️
cant believe how many subs you have now, I started watching around 60k subs. Love your vids theyre always so entertaining. Wish you the best and please dont ever stop making content
@@WANDERER0070 Absolutely, I once resided in China, a land abundant with surveillance cameras, where the utilization of any foreign software is strictly prohibited, as a mere utterance could land one behind bars. Hence, it's incredibly secure, a place where fear of the law keeps everyone in check, daring no one to challenge its authority
Love your D*ug references.. btw 19:15 the arcade was called Mollyfactory 💊🤣 Btw i live in japan and those who haven't played Momotaro the Arcade version is missing out on a life changing exsperience!! im not even a gamer by any means.. your welcome 🤫
