Getting Moto Guzzi V85TT going again after the winter storage. Check your bolts!

So, i took my V85 for a ride today and have noticed some small issues with loose bolts and nuts. Nothing too serious, but something to check after a storage ;)

The issues I had with both my Guzzi's were unique. I have reached the age where I am not going to put up with those issues. I'm sticking with my Suzukis and Kawasaki.

All in all, all sump bolts were loose + oil filter bolt :)

I think it is an Italian Bikes thing - My (original) Ducati Multistrada partially disassembled itself on the way back from a service once... sigh!

After how many Miles or kilometers ? And is the motorbike serviced by the dealer?

It is ;) i've redone all the bolts with loctite and will be swaping most of them to titanium ones. Its 6088km as of this evening :)

@@Kristisltu what is the advantage of titanium bolts? And do you know the cause of the gearbox issue?

@@janvanginneken5387 weight and looks :) standard ones tend to oxidize while titanium remains the same througout the time. And u save a bit of weight as a bonus :) gearbox rattle was a loose clutch arm ;)
