What is it specifically that makes Azir such a hard champion to play? I abstractly understand that he is mechanically challenging and perfect positioning + soldier positioning is mandatory. The specifics however aren't as obvious to me. Or am I overthinking it in that the level of precision and complexity is just much higher over all?
I think it's just that he has a lot of options available to him at all stages of the game due to his kit having so much in it and that really adds a lot of complexity to what the "best" play is at all times

I've been playing Top azir most of my games because I suck at dodging skillshots in mid but on top I can bully melee champs as long as I manage my wave properly so I won't get zoned😂 any tips for azir top?
Shok it has been suggested to me that azir is good va cassio but in my experience it feels like q really hard matchup and extremely volatile to navigate. Any thoughts?
It's pretty good yeah, just play for WQ auto poke and use your fleet movespeed to dodge skillshots, you can die if you overextend but as the game goes on it'll become harder and harder for her due to your range
It’s more for the shield and surviveability imo, champs like Viktor ans Syndra have no dash and their only peel can also be used to get pics, so it helps into more aggressive comps imo (plat syndra)
Super late reply but I think seraphs shield is broken for teamfight and for sidelaning, you can go luden if you feel like you won't take any damage but I find those sorts of games to be super rare
