The way you organize all this information into different sections then go into detail on every single nuance in a manner that makes it so easy to digest is so so helpful, thank you a ton! You relay knowledge so well that you’re such a natural teacher and a great one at that. You are a huge godsend to all of us wanting to improve by sharing a ton of useful information, can’t thank you enough ❤️🔥
Hey shok do you have any advice to dodge syndra's Q and stuns, it's very difficult for me and most of the time I end up with no life online while she is full life. If anyone has any advice too I would appreciate it very much.
I still don't understand the appeal for 10% attack speed, even provided your explanation. How is the haste or flat ap just just not significantly better given Syndra already good wave clear?
Thanks for these videos, i reached master before but i swear it was a mix of mechanics and luck i feel like, i just make so many stupid mistakes all the time and i need to practice to not make them a habit
New to LOL. This video was helpful for sure. One thing I’m having trouble understanding is the comment about “second item” , wouldn’t second be the boots? Or in general we all take boots second so you call the second item more about weapons and armor?
I am just coming back to the game after quiting several years ago. How does flat pen and %pen work now? Which is applied first in terms of calculating enemy MR?
Probably just something you find annoying, either an AP jungler so your team doesn't pick it, Liss/Vex/Kass/Galio can all be options but imo LB can win if u play them well
hey @shok can u make a video kynda similar to the AP itemization but more wide with other champs and explain to us how building ad/crit/armor/hp/haste... affect each champ for example -why atack speed are build in certains champs -why adcs go crit insted of raw ad i have this idea cause when i play riven, she is very item reliant and she needs AD and CDR, mostly and to mutch hp items are not that good on her, at the same time when facing darius and pantheon u need to go an HP item 1;and she as low base stats in general but when she gets both maw and death she becomes unstoppable
To be honest I don't have enough knowledge about all the other roles to make a video that would cover this super in depth, I might make an AD itemization video but it definitely won't explain specific matchups like Riven vs Darius
@@ShokLeague and AD itemization looks kinda hard to make, cause there are assassins, ADCs on hit/crit/lethality, bruisers that only build 3 And items, skirmishers that build adc items a lot to consider
@@ShokLeague lmao I was just commenting for the RU-vid algorithm, not telling you to comment! 😂😂 but I love the content brother. Have probably watched like 50+ hours of your Korea grind from your Vods. Thank you so much for the content! ♥️
another great video, thanks man! Some thoughts; feels like tempo is almost always favored to the team that is ahead and is very effective method for getting more ahead, how do you play against high tempo and pressure? And what would be the "correct" play if say u have solo laners pushing sides (ik 1-3-1 isnt so great to begin with) and one them gets collapsed by 2-3 enemies, ik its prolly situational to a degree but just some thougths from the dephts of emerald.
If your sidelaner gets collapsed on you should try trade somewhere else, ideally on the other side of the map. Tempo is normally favored to the team that's winning but you can punish if they desync their tempo or if they skip steps when trying to make a play (for example, entering jungle without making people show on waves)
Hey shok, just wanted to let you know that ive started watching the midlane fundamental guide and seeing a new video added to the playlist me happy, Golden Tips<3
After knowing all this, similarly to the concepts you learned in korea, how do you effectively implement these ideas into your own gameplay? I find myself knowing much more than I can execute
I am not near being as good as shok and I will probably never be. But here is what worked for me to at least get Diamond. You have to break the game into different brackets and if you just implement the most important concepts you can get Diamond 4 - at least i could and as i said I am not really that good of a player. Brackets: A) Pre-game B) Early game C) Mid game D) Late game Pre-game - Rune setup and match-up - plan your gameplan and dont watch youtube and reddit (i used to do that and mindskes go into games) Early game - Trade when they try to CS, try to get prio, ward for yourself and jungler. I am always very aware when jungler gets to first scuttle crab to try and get prio just before. I never commit to a roam because I am not good enough at determining if it will work so I play around my jungler and try warding for me and him, try to shove wave if he decides to start an objective Mid game and late game Shove side lane - and look constantly at mini map. Basically, if i can see 4 enemies on map i shove (also if team is not pressuring) but i leave immediately i lose vision of them - if team is pressuring i pressure. If sidelane is shoved in i rotate for fight on mid: so in short Pre game: Rune Early game: CS, trade when they CS, help jgl with ward or fight when wave is shoved Mid game: Push side lane when you know you can, teamfight when sidelane is shoved
Basically you gotta focus on implementing one thing at a time, eventually it'll become a habit and you won't need to think about it as much as you did previously, then you can move to something else. Don't move on to a new skill too early otherwise it won't be habitual.
If you think its useless to roam (or you are late to a bot/top play) you should just try to decline CS or hard push and recall (so you come back with a little advantage or at least you let them lose something and you have an advantage of tempo).
I randomly found your video, but you have a new subscriber. Very high quality, and I love the discussion about how systemic changes affect the ranking.
