@@galisatsuki awh, thank you, Emīls always amazes me with his work. Did it really? Well, my elbow was not as swollen as I thought it might be. But when I got my hand (palm?) tattoo, that swelled up so bad that I could not see my knuckles. :D
@ Yes, his work is stellar! Ah yea I remember the video about your hand. Worse with your hand cuz you need that shit for everything (so worth it though). Re: the swelling, my left elbow (done this year) did not swell as much as the right. Grateful for that but kinda weird.
I really love your sleeves, they look so clean. i am working on my sleeve, too, and like you i only want to have black and grey, but sometimes i have the irrational fear of the dark spots "melting" together (if you know what i mean) so i always go for more grey and left-out-space between the tattoos. i absolutely love the dark black tattoos, but a few older people, who got their tattoos long ago, got so much "smudged" looking tattoos and i don't want this to happen to me. do you think this is unrealistic? nowadays tattoo artists maybe use better products or techniques?
Not just technique on the artist's behalf, but the formulation of ink has changed drastically over the last few decades! As long you get a quality tattoo, and keep up with sunscreen and protecting your tattoo from the sun it will age well :) hope this helps reassure you
