What turbo manifold were you using? because cylinder/drive pressure are the biggest factor in this. I mean, i've seen people thrash 500 wheel KA's for multiple seasons on regular ass ARP's. So i kinda have to assume your tune and exhaust was creating more cylinder pressure than there should have been
100%. DJ cops a lot of shit for shaving the bay, the doors and whatever but man the car is actually gonna work somehow, like it's just over the top enough and Brian has done such a great job with it that he's actually gonna pull off a shaved bay, mirror tinted, Lambo door build and it's awesome

So glad I clicked this video. I just bought a used KA24DE from my buddy that he says was put together by JP. It’s at my builder now getting freshened up because the guy my buddy from said it started smoking after an event so he took it out & my buddy bought it to redo but ended up changing plans & now I got it. Hoping it’s just rings or seals. I’ve heard JP knows some shit so definitely looking forward to putting it in my s13 & going over to his shop.

Jd’s right about those clusters fk the nismo tax , when we were building these things 15-20 years ago in Australia no one even wanted nismo junk because it was all just basic stock gear that was badged compared to the new up and coming products such as tomei or greddy. Crazy what they’re worth now

The pearl is so hard to see on camera then the light hits just right and it glows. Aperture control in the car please. Someone in CT needs to setup a flow bench with those fancy ported heads you are knocking out.
