getting my mind blown by Loathe - I Let It In and It Took Everything for 6 minutes and 31 second 

This album is a masterpiece. They have some obvious influences but I honestly haven't heard a band that sounds similar to Loathe as a whole package

The main riff in Broken Vision Rhythm is extremely underrated imo

Gored is in double drop C# tuning as far as I know. Which is a full tone and a half lower than standard bass tuning

Best album of the year by far.

I love how many notes this album touches on, the genre fusion. It has some disgusting moments, as well as beautiful soaring ones. But what really gets me is the title track. It captures all the pain it's trying to convey, and throws it at you in several different ways. From brooding, thick, hauntingly beautiful chords that start, to big, dread-filled grooves, switching up the beat, keeping it fresh, all the way until they let those big muted chords just ring, and ring and really let you sit with that emotion, and that vibe, fester in it, until finally, you're dropped right back in the gloom, with a sad resolution, in the wake of something tragic. fucking masterpiece.

In a year of some insane metalcore albums, this one still remains my favorite

Honestly a massive surprise. Listened to Loathe for the first time yesterday and this album this morning, got blown away. Often in metal these days I'm bored half way through an album because it just feels like all songs are the same but Loathe really set the bar super high. Variety, talent, groove, violence, vibes, everything is amazingly well produced. A masterpiece if nothing else, hits harder than most albums I heard because of the well written intensity.

I love how he put the slower songs into the "like" playlist, it's a sin if you dislike those songs also it's one of the best albums to date

Loathe & Thornhill are the future of metal

Album of the fuckin year for me, absolute masterpiece.

I've been listening to Loathe since The Cold Sun. I had, I let it in and it took everything on repeat almost everyday. My favorite tracks are, Screaming, A Sad Cartoon( My cat passed away so I listen to A Sad Cartoon and I let it in and it took everything ..more than the other songs off the album.), Aggressive Evolution, and Heavy lies the head.

This album is my favorite album of the decade if not ever. It has all of the elements of music that I love smashed into one. This album is gonna take them far and i can't wait for the next release from these guys. If they keep this up they might become my favorite band of all time as well lol.

God i love the part with the "*DUNK*" in heavy is the head that falls, when you hear it you know what i mean.

They're in Drop E and Drop C#1 I think and they play entirely on fender baritone guitars

A couple more excellent releases like this and Loathe are the GOATs. Never, ever, ever heard anything quite like them or their songwriting. Its like everything I've ever loved about metal in a single band.

Favourite video ever hands down. Listened to these guys since their first ep and this album holds a huge place in my heart as in my opinion one of the best metal albums. I hear deftones yes, but i also hear Deafheaven Boris (fangsanalsatan) AiC Melvins Reflections Radiohead Nine Inch Nails Norma Jean Yob Electric Wizard Soundgarden And Devin Townsend It’s incredibly well intended with no gimmicks or strings attached. It is true to what it is. Honest.

Loathe and Boundaries were easily the kings of 2020 in terms of improvement and innovation, they both took hardcore music into new and amazing directions and i cant fucking wait to see what Loathe does next especially since ILIIAITE put them on the map, its insane how popular they have become, they were so unheard of until this album and now they are the fastest growing heavy UK band in terms of popularity. as of writing this Two-Way Mirror just hit 3 million plays on spotify.
